I saw Dr this morning and my Bp is still on the rise. All my bloodwork came back fabulous and I am still not dumping protein in my Urine so I technically do not have pre-eclampsia. I just have high blood pressure all of the sudden. It was up another ten points. I have had it taken five times today and they were all sky high.

I am distressed that this would happen on my 6th pregnancy. Why this time? She can't figure out why exactly she just thinks my body is not reacting well to the pregnancy. She started me on a bp medication - an beta blocker. It is a low dose, but she said that it will probably increase over time. She also told me I probably will have a lot of symptoms adjusting to it. GREAT dizziness, weakness, sick to my stomach. All the fun stuff. I have to see her weekly and continue to monitor my pressure on my own. I did lose two pounds so that made me happy

Tancy, I'm on a high dose of beta-blocker and I have NO side effects from it! I hope you experience the same as me! What kind are you taking? I hope you can get that bp down! That has to be scary!

I just looked and I am on the highest dosage for my anti-thyroid med, but an average dose of my beta-blocker. Probably why the beta-blocker isn't working as well as it is said to for tremors!

Tancy I will be praying that your BP goes down on its own and that you don't have to many side effects on your meds. Try not to stress out that will only make it go higher. (I know easier said than done!)

I took my pill last night btw ... I felt awful. I got dizzy and sick at the same time. I just went to bed. I just took my second pill so let the fun begin

oh Tancy, I am so sorry you have to take that medicine! That just stinks!! I am keeping you in my prayers every night hun. I pray that you and your little bean stay healthy throughout this pregnancy. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts !

Praying that your blood pressure goes down to normal - those pills you are taking just do not sound like fun. Hope you feel better real soon!
