Default baby's shaking in my tummy

Has anyone ever felt like the baby was shivering in their belly? The past couple of days it has felt as if the baby is shaking in my tummy. I know it's probably not, but it feels as if she's having a seizure in there. It only last maybe three seconds or so, but it is very weird. I don't know if I should call and ask my Dr. or just wait until my appt. on the 1st to mention it. Oh just one more thing to worry about!

I have no clue but it would not hurt to call your Doc and ask. I am sure it is nothing but no since in worrying yourself.

I wouldn't worry about it. I had all kinds of strange-goings-on when I was pregnant with my boys. I would wonder "What the hay?"

Everything's fine!

I am 21 weeks pregnant and it is happening to me for a week also. And it is always at the same spot. Was yours at the same spot too?

Mine seems to be everywhere, and so does the baby. I am going to the DR. on Mon. So I will definatly mention it, but I think it's no big deal. It just feels sooo weird. I'll let you know when I talk to my Dr.

I was lurking and saw your post - I hope you don't mind me butting in. My DS did the same thing when I was pg with him. I kind of thought it was more like he was trembling and then it would stop. My ob had never heard of it and said not to worry about it. My ds is perfect so I guess it was nothing to worry about. HTH.

Oh I don't mind. It really is a funny feeling isn't it. You are right, quivering is the perfect word for it. The baby is still doing it, but it seems to have slowed down a little. Thank you for your information!

You know, that happened when I was pg w/ NJ. My doctor said it could have been hiccups...and I think she was right because to this day when NJ gets hiccups, he shrugs his shoulders and puts his whole body into it.

I'm sure it's nothing...but it's never a bad thing to ask.
