One week from today we'll be on our way to Florida!! I am sooo looking forward to this trip! I just can't wait to see the kids expressions! They are excited to go and all, but they just have no idea what to expect!! I think it's going to overwhelm them! In a good way of course!
Any last hints or tips? We have all the restaurants that we want to go to booked, I have a general itinerary of what we'd like to see/do and we are in the packing mode now. We're actually packing an extra suitcase in case we come home with extra stuff.
I really want to make this memorable too. *I* am gonna try to get in as many pics as I can, so if anything (God willing) happens to me during my surgery in June, the kids will have some good last memories. Morbid I know, but I can't help it. I'm just totally worried about flying away from them again and then going through brain surgery and all. . . But I'm trying not to think of that now. I just want to have FUN at Disney!!
Sounds like you are really prepared! We are Disney-aholics! Seriously, I don't know what we are going to do this year since we're not going until Harper and Jackson are 1. Last year, I went 3 times!
Good idea that you have the restaurants booked. A lot of people don't know to do this ahead of time. Are you staying on property? If so, there will be early entry days and late night days. Sometimes we take advantage of these, but other times we hit another park at opening since the early entry days tend to draw a crowd. Or we stay at the early entry park for only 1-2 hours and then hop over to another park.
Also- definitely plan to use the Fast Passes. If you plan what you're going to fast pass, and then hit another attraction to wait in line for and then return to your fast pass time you should be in good shape. Since it's May, I think you'll have fewer waits than in other times of the year!
Good luck! Have fun! You guys will have a blast!

Bye-Bye negative thoughts!!!! My prediction is you all will be back at Disney next Spring as well. If you are anything like me, when you leave you will already start planning the next trip!!
My only last tips would be to take advantage of the Extra magic Hours. After lunch, you may want to change parks to a park that doesn't have EMH's that day. Going back to the resort for a couple hours each afternoon is always a "tradition" for us. We nap or swim and then clean up for a refreshing evening. Of course, you know to read your kids for energy levels. Oh, I can't believe the trip is here. You are going to have a blast!!
Oh, if your dining "plan" doesn't fit your plan of the day don't hesitate to call WDW Dining to cancel a big meal or add one. You will be surprised how many openings pop up on the day of. Are you guys eating at O'Hana? This is a place I have on my list to try.

We are staying at the Polynesian and we will be having breakfast with the characters there at the Ohana on Monday (the 5th) with Lilo & Stitch! Should be fun! I've heard all good reviews about that restaurant!
We'll definitely try to make use of the early mornings & late nights too! And the fast passes of course! I'm hoping it won't be tooooo busy, but I know a LOT of people from my area that are actually going around the same time!! We might actually be meeting up with one of the kids from Max's class while we're there!! It's crazy!
Oh honey.
I'm sure you are going to do awesome with your surgery but this will something great for your family to do together!! I'm excited to take my girls to Disneyland and I'd probably be freaking out if we were going to Disney WORLD!!!!!
And you have to take lots of pics to show US!
Have a great time Kim. You guys are going to have a total blast!!!!
And meeting up with one of Max's classmates would be so cool.
I'm so jealous! Have a great time. We're going back next April and I just can't wait.
Have you herad about the Pirate Cruise? It's so much fun for teh kids. My boys went on it last time we were there and had a blast. They go off on a pirate ship to a special island to serch for buried treasure. They serve them lunch and such as well. Plus you get to go off on your own for a bit because parents aren't allowed. Totally worth it just for that

Have a wonderful time. Keep your sense of humor and take a moment to pause and reflect on the scenery and the kids. It will be over before you know it.

Kim-----
Are you all packed up?
Got the sunscreen?
I know this is kinda late to tell ya, but Josh wore his Crocs the whole trip and never complained of his feet hurting him nor did he get blisters. I also wore my Disney Crocs and loved them, but did get a blister so I just wore ankle socks the rest of the trip with them. I looked kind of silly, but my feet thanked me for it. By day three DH finally gave in and wore his Crocs.

Have a great time! We went to Disneyland last year and the twins had such a great time. I know others have said it, but take advantage of the FAST PASSES!
We just got back From Disneyworld and had so much fun! We stayed at Shades of Green (military resort) right across the street from the Polynesian resort. We took the monorail form Polynesian everyday! It is such a nice resort! I hope you have a great time. We took full advantage of fast passes. We did not do the extra hours. We just could not get out of the hotel that early with 3 kids and we did not stay late at night.

We stay at the SOG, as well. We LOVE it!! Glad you had a great time!
I wonder when Kim is getting back. I'm sure she'll have a lot of laundry, etc. to catch up on, but I can't wait to hear how the trip went.
