Workout Buddies 3/13 - Thursday
How is everyone doing today?! I hope everyone is making some great progress! I'm about to go on one of my walks, & do my 20 min of pilates when I get back. I had a cereal bar for breakfast & I'm having some soup for lunch.
Let's keep up the good work girls!!! 
So next time we we can feel good!!!

Way to go Pamela!
I am having a good day as well. I did my 6:00 am Biggest Loser routine. That kicks my butt. My abs and arms are really sore today. I have to miss my lunch walk because my girlfriend went home sick and I have some homework to catch up on. I will do an extra long run/walk with Matti after work to make up for it.
Breakfast: Same as always, Fruit cup and turkey bacon burrito
Lunch: Turkey on whole wheat, Baked Ruffles and an apple.
Let's keep going girls!!!

You guys are doing great! You're definitely keeping me motivated ;o)
I went to the gym last night to learn my favorite trainer - the one I joined the gym to train with - was leaving. Ggrrr! Her class was canceled so I had to try a new one. Boy did it kick my butt though!!
It's going to get up to 40 today (woo hoo) so I'm taking my dog for our evening walk. We go for about an hour. I want to drive our route to clock the miles.
Bfast - hot chocolate - Quaker Oatmeal Squares w/soy milk
Lunch - lowfat chicken quasadillas
Idk what I'm doing for dinner yet. DH has a late meeting so he won't be home for dinner. I'll probs just have cereal and a fruit salad.

WHOA!!! Ya'll are doing great. I am probably going to pass on the working out today because it is cd1 and I am a little too crampy. Food wise has been good....protein shake for breakfast, cup of coffee, and a seafood enchilada with steamed spinach and a salad! I don't know what DH is doing for dinner but I think it has to do with turkey meat that is defrosting. Keep up the good work ya'll!

Ok, so for today I have been on 2 walks! I'm doing my 20 minutes of pilates after dinner. I was going to do it earlier, but I had to make a trip to the store for dog food. I bought some healthy snacks & went right past the Easter candy...that was SO hard! I've had a cereal bar for breakfast, a small serving of soup for lunch, a small cup of peaches, & a handful of raisins for snacks. I'm making wheat spaghetti & turkey meatballs for dinner. I swear I'm just amazed that I can walk over a mile & still have energy! When I was a smoker I was out of breath just walking to the bathroom. I'd have to take frequent breaks just cleaning the house...how did I ever live like that?!!!
Leah, I was reading about your dh. I smoked for 9 years! I quit over 15 months ago! If you'd like to email me I can tell you what I did to quit! It really is so hard, but as soon as you decided to do it time passes so quickly! I got pg 2 weeks after I quit so you may not have to wait 3 months after dh quits. Good Luck to you & dh!

THanks Pamela, yeah, email me your tips, I quit about 5 years ago, but it's just harder for him, he's reading a book right now, my neighbors just quit and the book is how they did it....
I'm like you Chris, CD1, so I skipped my workout cause I felt ucky...I had chex tropical mix for breakfast and a taco salad at lunch..but unfortunately mom is coming over for dinner and bringing pizza hut...I'm going to limit myself to 2 pieces and I'm going to have a salad first....and off to a workout in the morning...I love this, you girls are keeping me going, even on my bad days!

It's okay Leah, I hardly ever workout on CD 1. My body just won't let me. I broke down a little today because our office was having an ice cream part. I had 1 really big scoop (okay it was probably 2 scoops) and I had all the bad stuff. Chocolate syrup, nuts, and some whoppers on top (why I don't know). I feel a little bad about that so I need to push myself hard after work with my run. I hope my dog is prepared for my self-torture this afternoon.

I have to thank you guys for this thread!! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have gotten my lazy butt off the couch tonight and gone for a 50 minute run w/my dog. It felt soooo good and boy did my dog enjoy it too.
Having a big bowl of fruit and some toast for dinner. YUM!
Keep up the good work ladies. I love the motivation we're giving each other!!
Amy, don't fret over the ice cream. We have to treat ourselves every now and then. It's all about moderation. Get your evening run in and back on track tomorrow. A splurge here and there won't hurt you at the end of the week weigh-in. And it helps to keep you sane :o)
