We're On a Break
The report is no surgery yet but no physical activity (including bd'ing) for 6-8 weeks. He'll be doing physical therapy and they'll see if that works before they resort to surgery.
SO as it is now, it doesn't matter if I get into the RE or not. I won't be wasting my CBEFM sticks or the fertility blend and no bd'ing for awhile. Go figure this happened for the 1 cycle that DH was all on board for a ton of BD'ing. Maybe the TTC break is good for us, I just don't like to see DH in pain.
Murphy's trying to tell us something.

Re: We're On a Break
Hopefully the break will help DH to heal quickly and he won't need surgery. Sending T&P your way!

Oh, don't get too down on it. You know we have almost NO sperm and, as the doctor put it "our odds of conceiving naturally are about as close to impossible as they can be and that the word miracle doesn't exactly apply to what would have to happen for us to get pregnant" but I don't believe that's a "sign" that we shouldn't have a baby.
My point is each of us can probably list 10 things off the top of our head that have happened since we've been TTC that are set backs or flat out ROAD BLOCKS but I don't think that makes any of us less "qualified" to have a baby.
It's going to happen... just not this month.
KUP on DH's knee!!

Re: We're On a Break
Sorry you have to take a break-darn. I would still go ahead with your appointment (RE), if you get it, because I know how hard it has been for you to get one!!!! Hope your Dh gets to feeling better soon!! Good Luck!!
P.S. Do you live in San Antonio??

Re: We're On a Break
Ahh... let me rephrase.... Murphy's trying to tell us we need a TTC break... and we're getting one.
If I get an RE appointment I'm definitely going to keep it.
Lastly, yep we live in San Antonio. We just moved onto Lackland AFB.

Re: We're On a Break
I'm glad you are getting a break. Hopefully you can both start fresh in a few months!! And with lack of BDing, maybe DH will be really raring to go
Best of luck to DH with his knee!
PS my neighbor's daughter left for Lackland AFB today!
