Does anyone know what works great for getting urine smell out of things??? Especially off of concrete in the garage...
My two indoor cats have a kitty door leading into the garage where their food and litter box is kept. Well, I stay on top of it pretty well, but apparently not good enough for my Groban. (Pain in the ARSE cat.) So today in my garage sale (I'm up $200 WHOO HOOO) I'm setting everything up and notice that I keep smelling cat pee. After some investigating I realize he's been using other parts of the area to do his business. GROSS. I could have sold him today, I was so mad! I smelled it every once in a while but I thought it was the garbage cans that we have to keep in there or that the litter had to be changed and I would change it. WRONG.
I would use bleach on the garage floor. Good luck getting him to stop. When my parents had a cat do that, it was impossible to get him to stop! He turned into an outdoor cat.
That's what I was thinking, but do you think there might be a chemical reaction with the Ammonia in the urine and Bleach? You are NEVER to mix those two... That's the last thing I need is to knock myself out while trying to clean it up!!! I would wake up REALLY REALLY P.O'd! ha
I would definately dilute the bleach, but it shouldn't react with the urine and cause any vapors.... I think the ammonia in urine is different than ammonia you buy.

I think it's ok to use bleach. Good luck. We threw out two chairs today cause our cat peed on them, but there's something wrong with her, she NEVER pees outside her litter box. Think she has a UTI or something.
Thanks for the help ladies! I put some bleach in a spray bottle with water and then sprayed the corners down. Now it smells like bleach...but that's much better than what is used to smell like! Hopefully it will go away and discourage them (him!) from going there again. We moved a lot of things around in there to eliminate the temptation! We'll see if that works!! Thanks again!
