So, it really looks like I'll be triggering tonight. My follicles exploded (in a good way) overnight last night, and my estrogen was almost 1100 yesterday (that is great . . . they like to see 200-600 per ripe follicle). They are hoping to see the estrogen drastically increase again today. We are awaiting a phone call with the trigger time tonight and retrieval time for Monday. We look like we might get as many as 11 eggs (probably closer to 8 or 9, but there are about 3-4 more that are borderline). They'll actually try and extract eggs from every follicle, so the day of retrieval I could be told they got 20+ eggs, but the key number of good eggs will be in the 8-12 range (the ones that are big and ripe right now).

I can't believe it!

OMG, this is sooo great! To go from thinking you'd have to cancel this cycle to getting 8-12 "ripe" eggs...this is amazing! I'm soo excited for you. I'm going to be plastered to the screen for the next 2 weeks stalking you! I can't wait!! Congratulations on such a great turn-around!

Thanks, everyone! No litters here . . . we won't put back more than 2. If any others make it past the 5 day mark growing, we'll freeze them for the future. Retrieval is Monday morning, and I'm definitely nervous . . . if I can get through the shot tonight, and the IV on Monday, the rest I can handle!
