Icon5 Thanks so much for your welcome!!

Hello again!

I am not really into this posting thing yet. Do I answer my own thread or do I start a new one? I should know after reading so much here, but I am a little confused. I did both this time, so please ignore this one if you`ve already read the other (matching) one.

Thanks for all your great replies! It felt so good getting so much feedback!
And thanks a lot for the "technical help". At least I managed to add a ticker and a photo. But I hope to improve that in the future :-)
I know that I can be very happy, that (so far) it was no problem to get pregnant pretty quickly. So that didn't need any testing.
After my first m/c and D&C the embryo got tested and it showed chromosomal anomalies. The second one was natural and very early. Then I had my daughter.
Actually I thought I "broke the circle" (no idea how to say that in English) and m/c's would not be a part of my life anymore. Well, apparently I was wrong.
The next one was very early again. And then the blighted ovum (with the sac keeping on growing right on schedule).
So I had 3 different types of miscarriages. None of them implanted on the septum, which actually is the problem when having a septum. If implanted on the septum the embryo could be undersupplied and die.
Actually all of them implanted on the same spot in the uterus my daughter also did.
I talked to my gyn about progesterone, but after having no problems with my daughter he told me he didn't think that could be a problem. That was before my second m/c (this April) after having my daughter.
Right after that second one he told me, he thinks progesterone is the problem! HELLO?! That`s doctors! Two months ago, when I brought up the subject I was completely wrong and he refused to prescribe me progesterone "just in case" for the next pregnancy and now THAT'S the problem.
That guy is strange anyway and I probably should switch to a different doctor. He didn't offer me any testing options execept for blood clotting disorders. He said, if I had some he would recommend aspirin. Bur I took baby aspirin through all the pregnancies anyway, because it's supposed to help to improve the blood supply of the septum.
So what kind of testing do you think I should have done?
I know, in the United States they tend to remove a septum very quickly, but in Europe most of the doctors say the removal is the greater risk. And after having had a prefect pregnancy I dont't know if I should option that.
Well, I think I'll wait my beta to go down and then I'll try to see if my body get's back to normal. And I think I am not willing to avoid a pregnancy somehow, but I will try to get some testings done.
It's strange to say that, but I feel like you can get used to the strangest things.
My first m/c was the hardest. I completely broke down. The following ones were a little better. Maybe because I was too afraid and didn't even start to get into the whole "I am pregnant thing".
And I think I will never ever be able again to get really positive excited about a BFP. The first 12 weeks are not going to be very funny.
But let's see what happens!
I am very happy to be here!

(By the way, I think there a lot of girls out there just reading. I know at least five of my friends being on this forum a lot. I recommendes it to them and they also love it!)

I am going to bed now, you all have a nice day!!

Hi Nina,
You can post either way. Most of us go back and read what everyone writes and we'll see that you posted again. However, if the board is busy, you may just want to start a new thread or it may slip past everyone!

Nina, thanks for all of the compliments to our board!

Before I joined I was one of those girls just reading posts. It's important to say that because it lets allof us know that our posts are being read by so many more people than just those responding.

I personally think this board is one of the greatest TTC resources out there!

I'm so glad to have you here Nina!

Nina, that little girl of yours is too precious! What beautiful eyes No wonder you want to have more little ones just like her!

As far as testing, I'm almost too early in the TTC game to know all the tests out there. I just know my Dr. ran a full panel B/W to check all of my hormones. I hope one of the other ladies out there can help you out a little more!

Best of luck to you
