Still Bleeding???
Most of you already know, but I had a m/c on June 19th. On my following appt. about a week later(25th), she said everything was gone and that I would be dealing with just a regular period.
My normal period usually lasts about 5 days and I'm STILL bleeding. Nothing too heavy, but still enough to have to wear a pad. It's quite annoying at this point. I feel like I should have stopped at this point. I go back to see my OB on Monday for a follow-up, but wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this and if it's normal!
I just hope I can start my Provera next week to start another cycle

Re: Still Bleeding???
I hope everything straightens itself out. I know how hard it is to deal with a m/c and how badly you want everything to just be normal. Hopefully you can start your provera very soon!

Re: Still Bleeding???
Jeanie I haven't experienced this, I bled for 10 days following my D&C in January then after my chemical last month I bled for 8 day. I hope your ob can give you some answers.

Re: Still Bleeding???
Definitely tell them you are experiencing this. When I had my m/c I was told that you will bleed until everything is expelled. So, maybe there's a possibility that there is still some tissue in there? I hope it stops and you can move onto the new cycle.

Re: Still Bleeding???
i'm so sorry for your loss. unfortunately, it can take a while for your body to straighten itself out after a m/c. after i had mine in july '02, i had a period literally every other week until sept. if we dtd, i'd get it again. talk about frustrating and kicking a girl when she's already down!
i hope your body adjusts quickly.

Re: Still Bleeding???
I'm sorry you're still dealing with this. When I had my first m/c in February 22, 2004, I bled until April of that year. It was awful. Not sure why I bled so much but I did. Very frustrating.

Re: Still Bleeding???
I would call your dr tomorrow and say you are still bleeding . . . they may want to fit you in earlier. There can be microscopic tissue that does not pass, or it could just be normal, but I'm guessing they will want to see you, and may prefer you come in earlier.
How frustrating - I hope the bleeding stops soon!
