So, sooo sensitive!
Hi Ladies,
I have been so sensitive it's a joke! Is this normal?
I mean when I stopped the pill last year March I was a bit more sensitive, I would cry a little when AF was peeping around the corner. But, that's it!
Now I'm a cry baby for and about everything! I just cannot whatch TV - and I mean CANNOT, because even the adds get tears in my eys! So I won't even tempt a movie now and then. I did the mistake to watch Steven Spielberg's "Always" - alone - I can't remember crying so much, and I never cried thoughout an entire movie - ever! But I should have know... I just had no idea the movie was so emotional! Well, to me it was... Oh boy!
Any way, I noticed this emotional exaggeration after my MC, but I don't believe that it was that that's afecting me.
I think I was too long on the pill, I think I may have mised 10 years on womenly emotions, and I'm just not used to it.
My DH thinks it's quite funny and cute. Teasing me all the time. We may be sitting together watching TV and he will know when I'm just about to let the tears flow - he passes over the tissue box and calles me "Snotty".
I hope all this sensitivity isn't going to affect me getting a BFP.
If there's any one out there that's equaly sensitive and emotional and a cry baby, and let's not forget moody and short tempered, out there, please share with me.
Beijinhos

Re: So, sooo sensitive!
Marisa,
I haven't been on the pill in a long time, but this past week I have been an emotional wreck. Every TV show is making me cry. I think it is just because AF is on her way. Our hormones get the best of us sometimes and we can't really control it. I hope things get better for you soon.

Re: So, sooo sensitive!
Oh yeah, the chocolate has been calling my name all week. I even bought some Easter candy that was on sale today. Yeah, like I need anymore. Oh well, the body needs chocolate right now, so I am going to do as it wishes. LOL

Re: So, sooo sensitive!
Marissa, sorry you're having a tough time with the adjustment.
I stopped BCPS in April of 07 after being on them for years and it has been awful!!!! I hate not having them, I'm so emotional, and have TERRIBLE PMS.
Hang in there. The good news for me is that it only lasts for about 3 days each month, but it is a rough 3 days.

I feel your pain! I get super irritable and witchy. My poor hubby, all he can do is duck and cover.

Re: So, sooo sensitive!
Ever since I was pregnant and gave birth to my son, I am so emotional it's ridiculous. I was the girl who NEVER cried in movies, even my own mom used to call me cold-hearted (which she was wrong, I still had feelings I just didn't show them and I never cried) but anyway now? Oh geez. I cry at commercials all of the time. Movies, forget it, even the funny ones have sad moments that get to me.
I guess it's ok to be emotional. Annoying at times, but just another piece of who we are, as women.

Re: So, sooo sensitive!
I agree, over-hyped (medicated) emotions are no fun!!! DH (and i know he's trying and being very understanding / trying to help) after i said how i don't like how my clothes are fitting lately (all puffy and bloated thanks to the meds) goes "well just buy the next size up" and talk about duck and cover........... i about had a fit when i heard that :p
And then when i said they upped my clomid dosage his eyes just got really wide as in "oh it's going to be a long week"
