Should I be concerned
I have one day left of the free VIP stuff on FF so thought I'd ask
My temps this cycle aren't nearly as high - i know RE nurse said don't worry about temps with meds but still.............and with no P4 test no real way to tell if it was a strong enough O
TIA!!

Re: Should I be concerned
I think you can't worry about what your temps do on a medicated cy - they can pretty much tell if you are doing okay based on the size of the follicles at trigger.

Re: Should I be concerned
I guess we just have to have faith in our RE's and hope that technology knows best!

Re: Should I be concerned
well we also sort of cheated (i swear boredom will get you nowhere) and decided WTH this morning and used up an HPT i need a hobby
trigger was wednesday of the prior week (5-21) so barely past 10 days for the trigger but did have the world's faintest 2nd line but figuring it's the very last of the trigger

Re: Should I be concerned
My whole IVF cy, every time I tested and still saw a 2nd line, I kept thinking "well, it is good news that it isn't negative yet, right?" Thankfully, I never did see that negative! So, even if it is still trigger, the good news is that it isn't negative (not that a negative at this point would be telling either).
BTW - which trigger did you do this time?

Re: Should I be concerned
novarel ?
last two times it wasn't novarel - DH noticed this time the bottle was different so that's how I remember
I don't think it was ovidrel - the first two times all the bottle said was the generic name - chorionic gonadotropin - so not sure why we got a brand name bottle this time (same price)

Re: Should I be concerned
Yeah kind of put myself in a weird spot - i can either be really good and wait until friday (unless like last cycle spotting gave way to AF once i stopped the progesterone) or risk in a few days knowing the trigger's really all out (but then if BFN would be really annoyed)
this is why i don't buy HPTs

Re: Should I be concerned
Novarel can take a little longer than Ovidrel to leave your system (not that I"m trying to dampen your hope here).

Re: Should I be concerned
For me, even though I would know that I wouldn't need to keep tracking and temping I still would do it. Only for the mere fact that it would give me something to do.....make me feel like I was doing something, anything. But then I think why should I waste the money.......because I would feel more anxious without doing something then I would feel about the money I spent.....KWIM? Does any of this make sense? I must really have control issues.....

Re: Should I be concerned
No it totally does - with the meds pretty much I can't rely on temping / symptoms / anything - that'll drive you nuts !!!!
