Default Question on Temperatures

Here's my chart, 20d79b Ovulation Charts

Now, here's my question. How much affect does the outside temperature have on your body temperature? I was expecting my temperature to shoot up this morning and it didn't. 1 degree does not indicate shooting up in my opinion. But I was sleeping in front of a fan and we had the windows open. Did I do this to myself?

Looking at this months and last months, there's that same 1 degree thing. Freaky.

BTW, you gals are a bad influence on me. I'm stalking my chart and thermometer now!

Sometimes the external factors will affect your temps, but yes you are looking for a temp rise that is greater than .1 of a degree. Usually you are looking for at least .4 to indicate ovulation. Maybe tomorrow your temp will spike, so make sure you get some bd in tonight if you can.

Amy is right. Definitely get some BD in if you can. I wouldn't worry that there was no spike yet- if you take a look at most people's charts, there is a slight slow rise and then a spike usually.

Also, do you temp vaginally? That helps minimize the effect of external things like fans and windows.

I agree. I'd say you may O today and get the spike tomorrow. (Especially looking at last months chart.) GOOD LUCK!

Also, some people have a slow increase over 2-3 days instead of a huge spike. Keep bd'ing - you just never know!
