I go to the doctor tomorrow to have my 2nd beta drawn to make sure my numbers are doubling. A little bit anxious but the digi today still said pregnant. I do not know my number yet for my first beta because it was drawn on friday afternoon said the results would come back today. I am taking a baby asprin a day and using progesterone cream twice a day. My doctor doesnt know yet because I havent had a chance to meet with him. I decided to do both since I had two chemicals in the last 4 months and my LP was only 11 sometimes 12 days instead of 14. Does anyone know how long I am suppossed to use the cream or if using it will cause harm if I really dont need it at all? Also how long should I continue to take the baby asprin? I wont get to see my doctor tomorrow either since im just getting blood drawn

I would not change anything you are doing except the worrying part! You need to relax. Just take one step at a time and try to calm down sweetie. Take the aspirin as long as you are taking the baby aspirin. Take the progesterone cream too. These are safe in pregnancy.

If you are using natural progesterone cream, it is safe to use during pregnancy. I had to keep on my progesterone through the first trimester, but was told it was safe to stop at 10 weeks. I'm in the process of stopping right now (it can be dangerous to stop cold turkey), so I cut my dosage in 1/2 this week, and then I stop at the end of the week.

You're doing everything PERFECTLY! I was on baby asprin with both of my IVF pregnancies and they slowly weaned me off around 8 or 9 weeks. And I was on progesterone (shots and suppositories) until 14 weeks. The cream can do nothing but help and when they get your numbers back they'll know if you need more assistance or if what you're doing works. Usually you go off progesterone as you enter the 2nd tri because the uterus takes over making enough. Good luck and many for high numbers!

ok I will try to relax! lol I called and the nurse said my number as only a 4 but that she thinks its just fine and that we caught it early since I was getting a non-pregnant on the digitals until the day after my beta last friday. So far I have gotten pregnant on digis sat, sun, and this morning. I asked her about the prog. cream and she said to just ask the doctor tomorrow when I come in and get a prog. test since I did not get that friday. Though since im taking prog. cream wouldnt my levels be up on the test or would the test now show the extra hormone from the cream? My prog. cream came from walmart and it doesnt say natural prog. so im wondering if its the synthetic type which would not be good im going to have to check it when I get home.

So I got home and I got the Rexall Progesterone Cream from Walmart. It doesnt say natural progesterone and the ingrediants just say progesterone. However, on the back it says warning do not take if your pregnant or nursing so this makes me think that its not natural along with the disclaimer at the bottom it says this product has been known to cause cancer. I think I am going to stop using it I have only been using it from 8dpo
