so i just picked up my meds to start when AF shows up. holy cow. insurance covered half of it all but the gonal f pen (900 units) was still 500 bucks. now, i read that women with PCOS are often very sensitive to low doses, so i'm wondering, what dosage are you ladies having to use? they are starting me on 75/day, low and slow. hopefully it won't take much because we don't really have much funding to play with for this. hopefully one egg will ripen up and DH super fertile spermies will catch it!

TTC since July 2007-off bcp! but not ovulating and irregular cys

March '08: REI consult, dx with PCOS. DH is good-no MFI!
March-June: clomid-no O
June: injectibles, no luck =(
July: officially reached 1 yr TTC mark =( =(
August: taking a break from meds and the hit to the wallet they cause. =( =( =(
Will try injectibles again in '09 (if we need to fingers crossed =)

- yeah they aren't cheap....... no fun there

Can't say much on the PCOS thing - i started at 100 and got scaled back to 75 after the 1st u/s

What day are they going to check you once you start?
