Default Q's about implantation and stuff...

Hi Ladies!

Still new here, but thanks again for the warm welcome last week. I'm 8 DPO today......one more week to wait. Yesterday, I noticed some crampiness in my uterus/abdomen (felt more like a pap smear than AFcramps) for a short time. Does anyone know if that could be a sign of implantation? No spotting or anything.

I don't remember feeling that when I was preggers with ds...so who knows?

Also, for anyone else TTC #2 after having infertility with #1....are you doing the same regiment? Have you had to go more aggressive? Anyone have success stories of good results with #2 after trouble with #1?

It took us 3 1/2 years for ds....so my doctor has let me go directly to meds this time around without having to 'waste time' with natural cycles. I am just doubting my chances of success. I hate getting back into the roller coaster again.

I'm so glad you all seem so close. Infertility is such a painful and misunderstood thing....I'm just gun shy to go through it again (although I think it's diff now since I had ds). So glad I have some ladies to talk to about this stuff!

Our situation was different. We ttc for 2.5 years to get pg with our first. We got pg shortly after she was born but lost that baby. Then we got pg again, not really trying, ONE night of and bam found out we were pg with #2 when dd was just 6 months old. TTC #3 however took 2 years again. I was diagnosed with Endo in September and a blocked left tube, I'm sure my body just got worse after waiting a year to get pg again.

It took me 15 months to conceive DD (ended up on injections, trigger & IUI). Since I never got AF after I stopped breast feeding my gyno told me that I would probably need help again for #2 (although I prayed I was one of the "lucky ones" that got accidentally PG after infertility). I went off the pill in August (since we were okay if it naturally happened anytime after that) but knew I'd go right back to the RE once we were really ready to go forward. He put me on the exact same protocol (since it worked the first time for DD). The first IUI was a bust and we will know about the 2nd on Wednesday.

I hope that cramp was implantation for you!!! With DD I was so new to all this I didn't know there were things to obsess over. Now I'm over-analyzing every little thing. I swear if I grab my own boob one more time to see if it "seems" fuller - I'm going to file a sexual harrassment suit again myself!!

Denise...you cracked me up with your self-harassement comment! LMBO! I agree...I was working full-time when I was TTC #1, so I was distracted more from all those little silly body signs we all look for.

Kara...so sorry for your losses. I have endo, too, and had a lap to removed adhesions before my ds. My OB originally wanted me to go right from bfeeding to getting preggers to stop any endo growth. Unfortunately, I had a complicated pregnancy, and my body needed to heal before trying again. So...I'm worried about endo regrowth. I was on 6 months of the Nuvaring fulltime...no AF...woot!...to help decrease my endo probs. I'm very scared about TTC for another 2 + years as I'll be 33 in July, and my fertility 'ain't getting any better'!

I had abdominal cramps around 9-10 dpo when I got my first BFP. I hope that is what is going on with you!
