Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. What are things you do to help you relax?

I don't do housework and generally don't go shopping, unless I really really feel like it. This particular morning when Reuben naps I'm thinking about taking a bath.

I am going to go read my people magazine on the porch with some decaf coffee and super tons of flavored creamer LOL. I love hearing the birdies in the morning...I do listen to relaxation music as I fall asleep every night as well.

Well, I wake up to the sound of cartoons - DH always goed to the sitting room early to catch the cartoons. I join him leter, make ourselves some breafast. Then we either stick around for lunch or go for a drive up the mountains and end up having lunch there. So our relaxing Sunday will either be driving around the mountains or lazying at home watching movies with pop-corn.

In the summer I enjoy going to the pool for the day. In the winter, we usually watch football all day after church which sometimes isn't that relaxing, but we'll cook up some chili and stay away from any work.

I scrapbook or go outside and take pictures. I love taking pics of birds, flowers, clouds, and of course DD.

We try to be lazy Sunday morning. Craig normally takes Amy to the bagel store and gets the paper and we just try do a lot of family things.

Kristie - I agree about football. Sunday's are an all day event with a fire going and me making chili or sauce. Now that it's nice we'll try to spend as much time outside as possible.

after church, I like to go out for dinner - doesn't happen often, though! I like to come home and read. Sometimes I'll get a bubble bath and read in there. If it's nice, we'll go out and sit on the porch and play with the dogs.

Today I went and had a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. The waxing isn't relaxing but getting a prettied up for the week makes me feel better. I normally do homework and housework and a bubble bath. I am done with school now so maybe I can start enjoying the weekends a little more.

Oooh Amy I so want a pedi I've never had one but my heels are in bad shape. I'm planning on getting one soon.

I like to relax by watching a movie, soaking in the tub and reading my bible. I haven't had much relax time lately because I've been swamped with photo orders (a lot of Graduating Seniors, etc).

Oh Kara you have to get one!!! I am ticklish on my feet so it is difficult when they scrub my feet, but I enjoy the rest. I have a thing about having pretty feet and freshly painted toe nails! I have a place by my house that only charges $18 for the pedi so I can indulge a few times a month, plus dh like that as well so he doesn't mind me spending the extra money.

I'm ticklish too and I think that's why I've never done it but I've been saying for months that I'm getting them done this summer. My heels look so bad in the summer due to wearing flip flops and no matter what I do, they don't look good. My toes do, but not my heels. Weird. So I thought I'd treat myself and my 4 year old dd!!

I create mosaic art or paint. I used to just sit down with a good book and just read until either the book was finished or I fell asleep. We've been so busy that I haven't had the time to do any of that. I finally have my mosaic stuff unpacked and organized so I should start that up again.
