I've done too many to list, but one that stands out happened over a year ago! Laziness almost caused this little incident!

So my little Mazda is a stick shift...and it was parked in the garage but for some reason I needed to move it a little out of the garage. I don't remember why, but I just needed to move it. Well, DD was taking a nap and DH was working that Saturday. So instead of going inside, getting my keys, starting the car and driving it back, I had the brilliant idea that since it's a stick, I'll just put it in Nuetral and push it. WRONG!!!!!!! Oh, and I'm barefoot too. I start to push it and it's slowly rolling backwards, well then there is a little 'step' from the garage to the driveway and the car QUICKLY gains momentum and REALLY starts rolling down the driveway!!! I do my best Dukes of Hazzard impression and quickly open the door (OK, so not EXACTLY like DoH, I don't think I would be alive today if I tried that!!!) and try to jump in to stop the car from rolling out into the street right into our neighbor's driveway where his new $35K truck is parked!!!! I barely was able to jump in without running over my leg & foot and quickly put on the brakes just in time!! I was laughing so hard and my heart was racing!!! Then afterwards I got to thinking, OMG, I could have just ran myself over and NO ONE would be there to help me as I lay pinned (squished) underneath my car!!! I called DH and told him about it when I went back inside and his reaction "Well, that was a dumb dumb!!" So, moral of the story...don't be a lazya$$ like me, go get the keys!!

Yes, I actually did cause some injury. When I taught first grade I decided to show the kids that I could do a cherry drop on the playground. While hanging upside down my shirt fell up/down and in my mind I was hearing all the kids tell their parent's they saw my bra!!!! YIKES! So I immediately grabbed my shirt with my arms and released my legs from the bar I was hanging upside down from and fell flat on my face. I had black eyes and bruised and swelled up really bad. People thought my bf had beat me! HA! Anyway, how dumb! Instead of impressing the kids, I just got laughed at! HA HA HA HA =) Oh yeah, and I had to fill out an accident report with the nurse. I thought for sure I was getting fired! =)

Oh Kristie, I know it wasn't funny at the time, but it's quite funny now!!!!

Hmmm... the only thing I can think of is trying to see how fast I could get my car to go. I had an '85 Toyota Celica 5-speed. I got it up to 110 on a not so long straight stretch. I had to hit my brakes quite hard to make it around the corner. I made it no problem, but I think I would be scared to try that again...
