I would prevent the birth of Hitler.

Hmm... I think I would be too scared of the outcome to change history. KWIM?

I think everything, even the horrible things, happen for a reason and if those things never happened, there would be lots of other things that would never happen. They may be wonderful, or may be even worse.

So I could never settle on one thing to change.

I agree with Mandy that everything happens for a reason, so it's scary to think about changing things, but I would say 9/11 sticks out in my head as something I would not like to see happen.

Definitly there would be other unknown consequences for changing the past, so you really have to take it with a grain of salt. Like you said, it would be easy to say stop 9/11 from happening, but it could have easily happened on 9/10 or 9/12. KWIM? So, it's just something to get you thinking....

The whole affecting the natural flow of time aside, I'd change the invasion of Iraq to a no go.

I've lost a few family members to cancer and I would change the day they got cancer and make them better.
