QOTD - 3/17 - TTC Love & Hate

So every relationship in life has some sort of LOVE & HATE. What is your love & hate about TTC?

For me, I would probably say I hate the fact that I don't have a baby in my arms and a child for my family. I do love learning about my body, POAS and meeting new friends that are in the same boat I am!

I love that my dh and I get to have more sex. We were getting to the point where we did it once every couple of weeks. Now we have a more healthy intimate relationship. I have learned to try new things and experience more. I also like that I have learned so much about my body and how it really works and of course, I love meeting all my new friends here on SK

I hate that this process has its ups and downs. My dh and I waited a until we felt we could financially support and child. We finished our bachelor degrees and everything. Now we have to sit and wait some more. I want to have that baby in my arms keeping me up at night, peeing, pooping, and leaving me exhausted. LOL

Hmmm . . . I love the excitement and hope that comes with TTC . . . but I hate the disappointment that hits when you get that

I love all the sex but I hate the waiting!! The waiting is absolutely the worst part for me.

We're waiting til August to conceive our 3rd child and I miss having a wee little one around the house as my other two kiddos are 5 and 3 and both in school...one in Pre-Kindergarten and the other in Preschool. I also hate that my sis in law is pregnant right now and due with Payton end of July and I LOVED being pregnant and want to add to our family NOW. I hate waiting but ttc is fun and exciting.

I hated "scheduling" sex. I did like that we had a lot more sex than normal and I think that was good for our relationship, but sometimes I seriously felt like I was pressuring hubby into sex and I hated feeling like that.

I absolutely loved the excitement of testing and hoping to see those two beautiful lines. I think that is one of the most exciting things ever, watching and watching and watching, and then seeing the faintest of lines slowly appear.

I'm with the it's not fun to schedule sex part................. (esp. the days it feels like your ovaries are going to burst and such........)
Also knowing it's all my problem so i'm sure DH is a bit frustrated but of course he won't say anything

Good thing - you definitely learn a lot / find out it's a more common thing than you thought
