Been on estinyl since July 8th I recieved my script for provera
it said take as directed?? hmmmm
been so long since I got af
(over a yr)
If my mind seems correct I remember taking it starting day 13-28 on estinyl
I called the dr office but they said I should of been taking both since day 1
(new nurse)
any ideas???
remember I get no af................

Barb, what is the estinyl for? I'm not familiar with that one. I am getting ready to finish my Provera tomorrow night, but my doctor told me whent to start it. I do it for 10 days and then AF shows up shortly after that. I have PCOS and was getting periods every so often, but the provera helped to get a new cycle started when needed. Not sure how much help I was. . . gl to you!

Jeanie you are a big help. Estinyl (component in bc pills) lowers fsh and increases
lining for me to shed for af. I will take provera for 10 days and go from there.

when i take provera i just start it so shows and i can start the clomid, i only take 5 days of provera and within 5 days shows then i do my clomid on cd 5-9, i'm actually taking provera tomorrow as long as i get a on tomorrow mornings hpt. GL.

cycle 1- April - provera,50 mg clomid (5-9) 47 day cycle
cycle 2- June - 100mg clomid (5-9) 58 day cycle
cycle 3 - August - provera,150mg clomid (5-9) at least one cup of Green Tea every day.

I guess you could have been taking both since cd1, although I don't know if the provera would have interfered with building up your lining. Technically, af is induced by withdrawal from progesterone, so as long as you take it and then stop you should see her.
