Keep in mind I've never paid more than $20 for a purse, and certainly not over $300. IMO it's a waste of my hard-earned cash. Nonetheless, I've been thinking about maybe getting a Coach bag, just to have one really nice thing for myself. Consider it my mid-life crisis item! Instead of a 'vette, it's a Coach bag. hahahaha

My question is, and I do have one....does the Coach outlet really have good deals, vs the net and/or sales at the dept stores? There isn't a Coach outlet close to me (not that I know of anyway) but I'm thinking about making the trip to one that I know of. I'm leary of ALL of the knockoffs there are on the net so I would be really hesistant to purchase one online. Any suggestions, personal experiences, or should I just keep my Penney's ones and be happy?!

Splurge on yourself!!!! The Outlets are AWESOME! Last Christmas my sister got me an $800 bag from the legacy collection for $250. It had a tiny blemish on it and it was a current season bag!! I love it. I have 3 and she's getting me a tote bag to use as a baby/diaper bag But the outlets are awesome - they are all great bags, usually just past season. But who cares if you love it, right!!

If you're like me and use the same bag for months, then I say go get it!! It's not like you're paying full price for it. Yeah, I'm the wrong one to ask because you do NOT want to take me shopping with you. I'm the person who makes you buy everything and doesn't let you walk out of there without it (but only if it's fabulous). I cannot stand wish-bought remorse!!!

I'd seek out the outlets (since there is usually a lot more fun shopping to do at outlet malls!). I'm not positive, but department stores usually exclude bags like those in the sales so that would be your best deal.

I'm addicted to the Coach wristlets. Such a nice change than lugging a diaper bag out with me all the time.

Go for it. I love my black Kate Spade and it's held up great! Happy shopping!

I love the outlet malls! I say do the one time splurge.....and don't feel guilty about it. What's the use of making money if you can't splurge once in a blue moon?
