Hey, SheKnows Guest - we need you! The SheKnows TTC boards aren't going anywhere - but perhaps you'd consider helping us grow our new TTC message boards at talk.PregnancyAndBaby.com? We want to be able to provide even more resources and support to hopeful moms, which means giving SK's sister community a little extra love. Please check out the new P&B boards here - and thanks!

From what I understand, your LH surge is typically later in the day, but everyone has different times that they get surges, so sometimes doing a few OPKs throughout the day is necessary to catch your surge. I hope you like to POAS HTH

Afternoon urine - like between 11 and 2 - after holding your pee and restricting water - is the best for OPKs. I used to test around 1 pm, and I would not drink anything after like 9:30 or 10 and I'd make sure to hold it for 3 hrs before testing. Have fun with the OPKs!
I agree with Tkeys. I find my surge usually between 10 am and 2pm. The night of the positive I can still see it around 8pm. By the next morning it's gone.
