So BIL / SIL had a bbq................

And not only did MIL (who i adore.......) mention when i got a glass of wine how "oh she won't get to drink for another 2 weeks" - of course then i had some explaining to do...

Our nieces were dancing around to music and one of my favorite songs (sweet caroline came on and i remembered all the nights at the wineries DH and i used to dance and how much i missed "our normal routine" and he goes "well in a few years our kid will be dancing along to the same................"

I'm trying to believe that.............

I hear ya! My last 2 nights were like that. We had a big family dinner last night, and there were 4 kids under 5 there, and my niece was clinging to me . . . and DH made a similar comment (as did other family members) about how maybe next time we did a big dinner like that, we'd have our own baby. Then tonight, we went out to dinner at a friend's house and there were 4 more kids there . . . . the girls decided to put on a play, and my one friend made some comment about how it was our turn to have the next baby (ya think?) and sometimes it hurts to hope, but then . . . it is such a wonderful thought.
