Default OMG what a day...(tmi)

this morning i went to the dr. they fit me in before work cause i said it was an emergency. turns out i have a little infection , dr (not my regular one) gave me perscription cream for for that and clomid, the cream was $7, ok no problem....i found out the clomid is not covered on dh's insurance $81. OMG no way. i wanted to cry when i called the insurance company, luckily my co-worker and i started calling pharmacies and found it for $27 THANK GOODNESS. of course dh said he didn't care how much it was as long as i have it. the pharmasist only had 5 pills so i have to go back tomorrow for the other 5. what a day....

Dana - I hope your day improved. I read in a conceive mag that WalMart had clomid for $4. Something to check on at least....not sure if all do or not.

Did you try asking for generic, most pharmacies will ask you if you want it. I get Clomiphene, generic form of Clomid for $10. The insurance would not cover name brand Clomid but cover generic-weird!

Good luck with it....I am having insurance issues of my own!!!

I get my Clomid at Walmart. 5 days of 100 mg for $18.00. It is worth the 30 minute drive because Rite Aid was $76.00.

I would ask Walgreens about the generic version, because I get mine way cheaper than $40 there, I think it's 12.99 wihtout insurance.
