I really do have a horrible addiction to this show. It's bad that my Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are planned around it Just curious to know what you ladies think about David Hernadez going. DH called it before it was even said. He feels it was rigged by the show so that they didn't have to deal with the bad publicity of the alleged stripper scandal. In my opinion I thought Kristi Lee Cook should have been out. Her country version of the Beatles was a tad bit horrendous! Also, thoughts on Katherine McPhee? I thought her dress was a little short!

oooh... my evenings are planned around it too! I was actually glad to see him go last night. From the beginning of this season I didn't think he had too much talent and he never anunciated his words. Kristi Lee Cook however butchered that song!!! I was amazed that she did so poorly. Oh, and Katherine McPhee didn't look or sing too great... I definately liked her better when she was part of the competition.

I think David's past did affect his run on AI but I don't think it was rigged. I think maybe "America" just didn't care for it. Regardless of orientation I think that "stripper" thing really hurt him. I personally could care less but you know how it is. I liked him.

And I agree that Kristy Lee Cook should have gone home first.

That song was PAINFUL!!!!! I was expecting her to pull out a washboard and start playing it!!! hahahaha (does anyone know what I'm picturing or am I the only one from the country on here??)

I'm thinking unless she really kicks it up this week that she might be gone.

You're not alone.... I've been an avid viewer since the first season and my Tues & Wed revolve around AI (and my Thursdays around Lost! heehee). So ya, I was happy to see David get the boot. I didn't like him from the beginning and thought he looked to...as Simon would say..."Cruise ship performer-ish". LOL Katherine McPhee looked great, I thought. She looks more mature and OMG did you see the ROCK on her finger???? Ya, she's marrying for the money. haha Thank God that she's taken since she's working with David Foster and my man (Josh Groban) does a lot of work with him so luckily they won't start getting all buddy buddy! heehee

I'm sooo addicted to AI. I too was suprised Kristy didn't go home first. That song was RIDICULOUS! She seriously needed to have teased hair and a Dolly Parton dress with sequins down to the bottom!! I didn't like David H. either, so I'm glad he went home! On to next week.....

hahaha I'm so glad everyone thought the same thing of Kristy's performance.

I think she is adorable, and I do like her voice, and I do like country music, but that performance was a little too "yee-haw" for me.

She's lucky she squeaked by!
