Well my Dad had a wonderful time at church today!

Our church has a "barn" on it's campus. They have a car lot, furniture, clothing, food, etc... it's free. People in need can just get what they need. They mentioned in the service today how they will need delivery drivers this summer and at the house later today he said that would be fun, I told him he should look into doing it and he said "I will, but I want to wait until I've been going a little bit longer"

So I think it "worked". He said he wants to go with us again next Sunday. My mother is just over joyed!!! She has been trying to get him to go forever. She told me that I should know that he would never have done this for anyone else, not even her.

So it's a wonderful thing and I could not be more grateful!

I was wondering how it went today, but didn't want to pry. I'm so very happy for you and your father! I'm glad to hear about him wanting to volunteer, it's so wonderful to hear how God works with people.
