sorry girls - but I'm venting here (feel free to bail out now).

Today was my 7th appointment for b/w and u/s in the last 2 weeks. I'm on CD15 and have to go back again tomorrow. My veins are completely destroyed and the woman (who is usually really good with me) had the worst time finding a vein this morning. After 3 days of injections at 150 they upped me to 225 and the eggs are still not mature!

I've got 16, 15 and 11 on the left and 17, 2-14, 13 and 12 on the right. I'm taking 225 of Bravelle again tonight and we'll see if the larger 2 pop enough for me to trigger. I was supposed to leave for Vermont for a family vacation but I had to push that back and if I don't trigger tomorrow I'll have to cancel all together. Since I'm not heading up with my sister and her kids tomorrow we had to tell my parents what was going on. They know what I went through to get PG with Amy, but not the specifics. I just hate that in 2 weeks they're all going to be waiting to hear from me.

Tonight will be my 13th night of injections. Does the fact I've been on it so long (and at a higher dose) mean that the egg(s) may not be of good quality this month? It's killing me that I'm doing all this and have such a fear that it's only going to make it harder to get a BFP!

Denise, sounds like your follicles are doing well. 17 is a good number! So, more than likely you could be ready to trigger in the next 2-3 days depending on what size your doc wants them to be. I'm sorry you are missing out on the vacation, but we all decide what our priorities are and all of us here on SK completely understand your choice. I'd do the same thing if I went through all of what you've gone through. Just think, if it turns out to be a BFP this month, you'll be so happy you stayed behind. SO, here's wishing you a HUGE BFP this month. Yay Denise!

Sorry Denise for the rough time you're having. I don't know much about injectibles, triggers, etc.... but that sucks. I hope in the end it will be worth it like everyone has told you. Maybe since you've now told your family, the extra thoughts & prayers will help. Also, just let them know if they haven't heard from you in two weeks and they question you about it, they do so at their own risk. Best of luck sweetie!
