OK ladies....since yall are waiting.....I got a.......!!!! I am thinking this is accurate since I am at 13 days past IUI and my lp is usually 14 days so I should see AF in a day or two. I will test again in the am, but think this is accurate enough. I am crushed!!! I really thought this would be it!!! I haven't gotten emotional...I can't even cry. I am trying to keep calm, because I know I am going to have to be strong for all that I am going to go through with another IUI. It is disappointing...I had a feeling it may have worked. I will call my RE and see what the next step is. More than likely I will try my 6th and final round of Clomid with IUI #2. I don't know how I am going to tell Dh when he gets home. He hasn't asked anything and I didn't tell him I was going to do a HPT today. But I know he knows tomorow will be two weeks. He will be sad, but I know he will be a big support for me and just say we'll try again. I didn't want to get his hopes up by "reminding" him for this reason. Now I am lookign back saying, what did I do wrong...maybe we shouldn't have walked around Lowe's for 30 minutes about 45 minutes after my IUI, etc.

*To top it off I am having issues down there still. Not sure what it is. If you remember on the 23rd my OB did a swab, no yeast infection, then that Friday, the 27th I went to my family Dr. she didn't see anything. I am having a burning sensation down there. When I use soap during a shower or last night after we bd and I peed (sorry TMI) I felt a burning. Not sure what it is. Don't think it is a yeast infection, had one a while back, although before my HSG I took some meds and it said may cause yeast infections, but I don't have any discharge. Looked it up, may be a Uriniary Tract Infection...I have all the symptoms except needing to pee a lot. It just burns when it is out....if you know what I mean.... feels kinda raw. I will let my RE know when I call. Also may just be from hormones, etc. If you have any advice on that let me know.

Well, THANK YOU so much for all the support ladies. I am sorry it didn't work out. I am stuck at home today because someone is coming to finish our home window tint so unfortunaltely I can't leave and do something to take my mind off of it. But I have a "filing" project to keep me busy...I need to organize all our papers. I appreciate all the kind words, PM's, etc!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry Jenny. I know the feeling of wanting an IUI to work, and hoping. I think it too, but I know there's nothing I, or you, have done wrong to make it not work.

I'm so sorry Jenny and you can't blame it on yourself... walking around the store couldn't have prevented it. Again though, I'm so sorry, I had really hoped this would be it for you.

Your symptoms do sound like a UTI to me... I typically have to pee frequently when I have a UTI but I've heard of others who don't have that symptom.

Nooooo.....Jenny. I was so hoping this was it for you. I hope you can find out what is going on with your problem down there and hopefully this next IUI will do the trick. Wishing you lots of for next cycle. But as always, don't lose hope until AF arrives.

I sorry Jenny i know how upsetting it is. I'm doing IUI#2 soon. Hopefully 2 is the magic number for us both. I also have the same prob down there occationally. I'm real sensative to any soaps or creams so i have to be very carefull. I found that summer's eve fem wash is awesome and really helps.

Jenny-- dont be silly.. it isnt something that you did wrong.. it was ok to walk around lowes or do what you wanted on the say of your IUI.. I went swimming like 5 hours after mine.. Your chances of your second IUI go up, plus, on my first IUI, I did a HPT and it was negative and two days later I did the blood test and it was possitive.. so I know its hard, but dont get down about this today.. Im Sorry.. but call your Dr and see if she wants to do a blood test.. Im sure that she will... Give me hugs..

Jenny, I am soooo sorry. I know how high your hopes probably are/were. BUT.....just wait until AF arrives and see what happens. Maybe she won't come! =) When you did your IUI did you do injectibles or just clomid? Maybe you could switch it up next time and see what happens! (If you need a next time!)

As for the burning, I was going to say UT infection. I don't know what prescriptions you'd need, but I've heard drinking cranberry juice helps.

First, I'm sorry!

Second - I've been dealing with a UTI . . it generally only burns while peeing, not on the outside skin afterwards. If that is happening, ask for a urinalysis, and that will tell them something!
