My dr called me at work. again.....
ok so i taked to the dr today.
when i called the office i talked to the nurse and i gave her my message and i told her he can call me at work till 5pm and she asked me for the # DUH he is the head of the ob/gyn for the hospital you would think she should know the # already. but any way... i told him my concerns about hormone problem, irregular cycles, pcos...etc he said that he would treat it with the clomid so... i told him i'd pick up the script tomorrow at lunch. then i told him that i needed to call around for a good price for the clomid cause it's not covered on my insurance. then i said that nothing that is fertility is covered. when i told him that he said "what are we going to do?" i hope he knows someone at a IF place that will "fix" things so i could work with them. i have my fingers crossed that this round works.
thank you ladies...

Hmm...what you doc said sounds kind of odd "what are we going to do"? But hopefully you can find a place that has clomid at a good price. I'm sorry, i don't remember, have you been diagnosed w/ PCOS?

he sounded concerned, i'm guessing he thought i had to stop ttc if the clomid doesn't work.
PCOS - no, but if it's hereditary i'm gonna have the dr take blood or do what ever the do to check for that.

Re: My dr called me at work. again.....
I hope the clomid works but I pay for pretty much everything out of pocket to and I am with a re I checked around and found one with reasonable prices so its possible to still receive treatment you might just have to go slower and budget it more but I hope clomid works and you do not have to worry about doing anything else!

Re: My dr called me at work. again.....
I'm not sure how much bloodwork would cost, but it may be beneficial to do it sooner rather than later if you are suspecting PCOS. Only because I would hate to see you spend money on just Clomid for a few cycles to see if works, when you may need some more meds, like Metformin to work with the Clomid. KWIM? If bloodwork would be through the roof, I understand your wanting to try the clomid first.
