My Concert Last Night (ot)

Hey everyone! I had an eventful night last night and thought I would share a few pics! Yesterday my MIL met me near work and we went to see Little Big Town and Carrie Underwood in concert! It was a great show! Carrie has really turned in to a great performer (not to mention she's absolutely Barbie doll gorgeous). For those of you that remember her on AI, Simon always made the comment about her stage presence being less than desireable (or maybe those were MY comments. haha!). Anyway, my how a few years of experience and some training on stage presence/technique really change a gal! She was amazing! Every song was perfect and she let her personality show on stage which was nice. She even thanked her fans for voting for her on AI. That was nice to know that she still recognizes how she got where she is. Here are a few of my pics! I also got some great video that I will post a link for later!

Then after the concert I went to pick up my car and as I was leaving, there were two kittens in the parking lot. Keep in mind, this was almost Midnight in Wal-Mart's parking lot. <read: prime non-savory types about>. So I parked, ran out of the car and tried to 'rescue' them. Well, they weren't having any part of it...they took off and hid under a car. I tried to coax them out, but they hissed at me. I can take a hint, so I left. I felt bad, but they seemed pretty street-wise so I just left them be.

So then, I get home and find my DD awake and crying. I asked why she's still up and she tells me her tummy is hurting. Long story short, she spent most of the morning throwing up and crying. I think I got 4 hours sleep, DH got about 5, and poor P got about 2hrs. Needless to say we stayed home today. How sad is it to be sick on Halloween?! Anyway, we'll see how she is doing tonight to decide whether or not she's going trick or treating.
