Just wanted to share that I did receive a 'high' on my monitor this AM. I do have kind of mixed emotions about it due to the meds that I'm on following the Clomid. I started taking 6mg of Estrogen a day and I'm pretty sure that's why the monitor gave me a High this AM. The instructions even said that when it detects a rise in E, it will read High. I'm taking it for a few more days and then I'm (in a perfect world) supposed to O sometime next week.

Guess we'll see what happens. I'm just afraid that it will go back to Low once I stop taking the meds. For those that have used the monitor, did you ever go from a High reading back to a Low one??

I think it says the CBEFM isn't to be used with clomid. So you might get mixed results.

Mixed results, ya no kidding! LOL But my dr. advises her patients on Clomid to use it (and not reg OPKs), and she's had great results...so we'll see. Thankfully the Mon measures the LH surge so I will know when I see that it's for real, and not medicine induced. KWIM? Thanks though!

Even with some who aren't on Clomid I have read the first cycle you may not get a peak..the machine has to get used to you...I got lucky and I did get a peak reading this first time..and I hope you do too!! Big (((hugs)))!!!

Hey Trinity, I don't know anything about the monitor, but I wanted to wish you good luck in catching those eggies when it's time!

I used the monitor WITH Clomid and we got high readings and then a peak and that first month we got our BFP with our daughter. You DEFINITELY can use Clomid with the monitor...and my daughter Ava is proof of that. AND you can still get pregnant on high readings but obviously it's more likely on peak. I personally haven't had a high reading and then it went back to low. Our machine got to know us really well that first month cuz it was super accurate and we got the BFP. I encourage you to use it and TRUST it with Clomid cuz we did. In fact we'll start ttc our 3rd baby with 50 mg Clomid (due to no ovulation) this August. But I do know a person does not always see peak the first month of using it. Have you missed any days where it's asking you to POAS? That is critical...to never miss days cuz that affects results BIG time. Good luck. We have a monitor so I can answer questions if you have any more. You are supposed to BD ALL high days and especially peak day and then high days after O before it returns to low fertility. That gives you the best chance to catch that egg.

Thanks Kara for the vote of confidence! I've followed the instructions to the T, so we hope it works! Tonight we'll start the week of BD and see what happens!
