Thank you girls!! I felt kind of silly putting that one in my sig because it's not of his face or anything, but for some reason it is one of my FAVORITE pics of him. I just love looking at his little neck and ears, and he was sooo absorbed in looking at the sand on his fingers, I just love it.

I can't believe my baby is going to be one!!! I don't know where the time went. On the one hand I am so so excited to watch him grow a little more every day, but on the other hand, I know that these are without a doubt the best years of my life and I just don't want them to go by too fast.

We are having a whole bday weekend for him next weekend, and I'm really excited about it. I've gotten him 2 bday shirts to wear for 2 of the days and am going to make him 2 more so he can be decked out from Friday to Monday I'm making him one of those giant cupcakes and am going to let him smash it and make a great big mess, although I doubt he'll eat much of it because he doesn't feed himself at all yet. We're probably going to get him a little toddler swingset or maybe one of those houses he can crawl around and play inside and out of, something like that, and some little toys and some stuff for the beach.

I even spent $10 on some little bday socks that have a big number one on them, which may not sound like a lot but is so not like me to buy frivolous things, but I just want to make such a big deal out of it for him. He's my little guy!

Thanks for noticing I will definitely post pics of his cake smash, we may actually do one before the weekend so that I can try to get some good pics without everyone distracting him and getting in the way. And hey, there's no such thing as too much cake so it's a win-win situation

Thank you Katrina!! He's a funny little guy that's for sure. His newest thing is saying "Uh ohhh!" all day long. The other day I knocked something small off of my desk and didn't even really pay attention to it, and then 5 seconds later I hear this little "uh ohhh" and it just cracked me up.

Right now he's playing with an empty puffs container and the cardboard roll from aluminum wrap. Weirdo.
