Sorry this one is late. I have had a super busy weekend and am just signing on to post the question and then hopefully I'll get caught up on everyone sometime tomorrow.

Where do you and your family eat dinner? (Where in the house that is)

Well, we don't eat dinner together that often since DH works late. So, DD eats in front of the TV at about 6:00 watching Max and Ruby. I eat junk all day long and no dinner, and DH eats while watching TV when he gets home. It's very rare we eat at the dinner table. Tonight, we are having popcorn for dinner while watching a movie. =)

We usually eat dinner at the table together. For me it's an important time of the day for the family to get together and discuss the events of the day, plans for tomorrow, etc.

We eat in the living room with tv trays. We've both agreed that when we have kids we'll sit at the table, but with just the two of us at the moment, we watch tv.

We eat in front of the tv in the living room. Its very very rare that we eat at the table. But I keep telling DH that when we do have kids we will all eat at the table together.

When my DH is working late, he eats when he gets home and I just eat when I get hungry, but other than that it's a mix of dinner table and on couch in front of TV....although we both came from families that sat at the table every night and that'll be something we make sure we do with our kids!

We eat at the table if I cooked a meal. But sometimes if it is a whatever night we eat watching tv.

The only time we eat at the table is if we have company over. Then we can only have 2 people...our table only seats 4!!

During the week, we all sit at the table with the girls and eat dinner together. That is something that I always felt important and wanted to implement in our family when I had children, so that is what we do. During the weekend, we usually sit down in front of the TV and watch a movie. The girls really find that fun so it is something they look forward to.

Dh and I eat in front of the T.V.

As many of you said, we want to start eating at the table when we have our own children, as that was how we were all raised, but right now we eat in front of the T.V. out of convenience. We only eat at the table when we have company.

We eat at the table most of the time. If it is something like burgers or takeout we usually sit in front of the T.V. I agree that once we FINALLY have a child we will be sitting at the table each night for dinner.

We eat at the dining room table every night. Unless one of us is working late and grabbing a quick bite then it is just in the living room at the coffee table.

DH and I eat in front of the TV in the family room. DD eats by 6 and we don't eat until closer to 8 (she's in bed at 7). Once she's a bit older, I'll start eating with her at the kitchen table. For now I do sit with her and talk, I'm just not eating anything (well, except for whatever she decides to feed me!).

We usually eat at the dinner table..it's a good time for our family to be together, and talk about the day with eachother. Occassionally we do eat in the living room together and watch a movie...usually on pizza day!!
