Mary Beth, I want to take that little pudgeball and squeeze him!! I've never even met him and I just want to build sandcastles with him. Your pics of him are so sweet. You should go into business taking baby pictures! Don't you already do graphics design stuff anyway? You could be the next Anne Geddes or however you spell it.

The scenery and of course the baby are both stunningly beautiful.

Aww thank you so much!! I think he's getting some beach toys for his bday so I'm sure sand-castle building days are in our near future

Thanks so much for the compliment on his photos! I absolutely love taking pictures but need practice and a better camera. That is on my list for when we sell the condo, I am going to get a really great camera and I am soooo excited about that. Then of course I will have to learn to use it, but hey what could be more fun to use it on? I am hoping I will have it by the time this next little one arrives so that I can get some of those beautiful baby shots that I have drooled over on these boards in the past. I do lots of graphic design, mostly logos for businesses, but I never really thought photography would be something I might be halfway decent at, but I love it anyway and what I usually do is just take a bajillion pics one right after the other and then I usually manage to end up with 1 or 2 that turn out really nice. And man it's such a great feeling when I get one that I really like, which is one reason I want to pursue it, it's so fun for me!

I think taking pictures of babies is a great way to get addicted to photography because they're so darn cute anyway, even if you aren't that great at taking pics they'll turn out nice because, well, they're babies and everybody likes to look at babies.

He is amazing and I know I am beyond blessed. I can't wait for you girls to be blessed in the same way as well, you will treasure these little ones more than you can imagine and your life will never be the same.

I am so proud of him today, he crawled over to me and stood up and patted me on the arm and said "num nums!" because he was hungry and wanted me to feed him (I always ask him if he wants some num nums). I am amazed at how fast he is growing and how big he's getting, I can't believe he's telling me when he's hungry now instead of just sitting on the floor and crying.

OMG how cute!!! I agree, your photography is so wonderful... FYI, I have a canon eos rebel and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It has manual as well as auto focus and 13 megapixels...not sure what you are looking for, but it is an amazing camera.

Leah, I am considering between the camera you have or a Nikon D50. I have heard that the canon rebel is a bit more user-friendly. They both take incredible pictures. I can't wait to get one!
