I'm getting my meds tomorrow!
I've had to be on my IVF nurse like stink on you-know-what to get me my Lupron before I leave for FL on Wednesday. So, finally the specialty pharmacy called with not only my Lupron, but my ENTIRE protocol of meds ready to deliver. So she was like, well let me plug this into your insurance and see what it covers...
And so I just started praying over and over again, "Please God, let insurance cover everything". Even though they've covered some of these meds for me in the past, I was afraid that everything altogother might cancel me since it's obvious I'm doing IVF.
So she tells me the grand total: $134!
That's it...that's for lupron, and follistim, and luveris, and progesterone supps and shots, and EVERYTHING!!!!
She said without insurance it would've come to $4,000! So even though we have no insurance coverage for the actual IVF...they're covering my meds...woo-hoo!!!!!!
