I'm back in the Game Baaabbyyyy
Ding Dong the Witch is here....
Guess she was just waiting until I got home! I went to the store, came home, had dinner, used the RR and there she was. How nice of her. So since I started at around 7pm, I'm thinking I will set my CBEFM for CD1 tomorrow, since that will be the first 24 hours of AF. Does that sound right??
Amy- Sending AF vibes your way so we can be cycle buddies!!!
Katrina & Leah- I found some Insteads at Kroger this evening. Think I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and try it for this month. Who is with me??? K, are you going to post the Instead Challenge?? I'll be using it before O day, on O day, and one day after O day. Oh, and staying horizontal afterwards to defy gravity.
So here is my plan of attack if anyone is keeping notes.
My TTC Army consists of:
CBEFM with 3 months worth of tests
3 FRER PG tests
1 FRER Digital Gold (the cadillac)
150mg of Clomid on CD 3-7
3mg Estrogen on CD 7-11 (i think those are the days)
3 Instead Cups (for the Instead Challenge)
2 weeks worth of Prochieve 8% to be taken on CD17
1 DH who is ready for some action

As for setting the monitor, turn it on in the a.m. but set it as day 2. I wouldn't start it as day 1. Good luck!!

Re: I'm back in the Game Baaabbyyyy
Trinity AF finally showed up today for me as well. More full force at about 7pm as well. I plan to set tomorrow as CD 1 also since that is when you have to set the monitor, the morning after. I read the book and that is what it said. Yeah, we are cycle buddies this time!!!

But the problem with starting tomorrow as day 1, it will say day 1 when you are actually day 2 and you'll be a day behind and might miss that high (doubtful). You can turn it on tomorrow at the normal time but change it to day 2.

Begin use of the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor on DAY ONE of your cycle - the first day of menstrual bleeding. Press the "m" button to create your unique "testing Window" which is set to run from 3 hours before the time you press the "m" button, to 3 hours after. Set the "m" button so that it is convenient for you to test your first morning urine - or first urine of the day

You can start using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor on the first day of your menstrual cycle, but not before. When you press the "m" button you establish your "testing Window" which is set to run from 3 hours before the time you press the "m" button, to 3 hours after. You should set the "m" button so that it is convenient for you to test your first urine of the day. To set your Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor, press the "m" button firmly for five seconds and release it when an "m" and day number "1" appear on the display screen. At the start of each new cycle you can either press your "m" button at the same time as you did on your previous cycle to give you the same testing window, or change your testing window by setting the "m" button at a different time.

Re: I'm back in the Game Baaabbyyyy
OK nevermind I brought out my book and you are right it says this:
|
You should set it as day 1. You must always set the m Button the morning after your period begins. The Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor understands this as day 1.
|
I forgot that from last month.

Re: I'm back in the Game Baaabbyyyy
Kara - LOL, I am reading your posts and thinking, yeah I read that, but then I read you set it the morning after. Maybe I should set FF to day 2 and the monitor to day 1 and see what happens? I don't know, maybe they should be the same day. Who knows?
Anyways. I am having one of those double over in pain, all of my insides all falling out of me type pain. Here's to rough AF!

No problem! I set it for today CD1, as with FF. Since it has you start POAS at CD6, it's bound to catch it no matter if it's half a day late. I'm not worried about it! I'll be happy if I even O this month!
Amy- YAE Cycle Buddy!!!!!!!!!!! This is our month girl!!!
