I'm back, but TTC is still on hold
For those of you who don't remember, I joined the board for a short time back in March, early April when I had my first IUI and I got my  . Unfortunately I had a missed m/c and had to have a d/c at 9 weeks. Just 5 days after my d&c my dh was shipped out for his 6 month deployment. It's been a rough road, but I think I'm finally getting back on track and I'm looking forward to TTC again.
My history again, we've been ttc #2 for 4 years now. We've been through all sorts of testing and it came down to me having one ovary (I had an ovary removed back in 04) and my dh having low sperm count and motility. My dh had a bi-lateral varicocele surgery back in Sept 07 and we had our first IUI in March. The surgery helped his motility, but not his numbers. We are hoping to start ttc as soon as dh gets back in late November or early December.
In the meantime, my dh is taking a multi-vitamin with zinc to help increase his numbers and we hope it works. I'm thinking about sending him some fertiliblend for men. Anyone have luck with that?
For the time being, I'd like to get back on board and cheer everyone on! Of course, I won't be charting, or anything until dh gets back. It's taken me a long time to get back onto SK since my m/c. That was the toughest thing to go through on top of my dh leaving the same week. I never wish that on my worst enemy.

Oh-no! I'm so sorry Becky... I chatted with you some over on the MFI board. I also had a m/c last week, but I can't imagine going through it without DH.  If there is anything I can do, please let me know. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Deanna....sorry to hear about your m/c. It's something that is so hard to deal with. I was only able to spend a week with my dh to deal with our m/c together before he had to leave. I think that's what has taken me so long to deal with this. I got the official word from my OB that we had the m/c on May 14th and I had my d&c on May 19th. It's been a month and I still find myself struggling at times. We are both anxious for him to get home so we can start trying again. Who knows what the 6 month break will bring!

Welcome back, Becky! I know you've had a tough road, but I'm thrilled to see you back again!
We didn't use Fertility Blend, but DH took a multivitamin, vitamin C, L-Arginine, L-Carnitine, Vitamin E, and pycnogenol (I think this last one did the most for his motility).

Wow, you've had a rough road for sure. I can't imagine how hard EITHER a m/c or having DH gone for so long must be so to have both happen in the same week must have been very difficult for you.
 when it's time to TTC and we'll keep you company in the meantime!

Welcome Back Becky! I am currently going through a m/c and know the pain that you endure. I'm glad you at least had DH for a week, but even still I find your strength amazing! We will all be here with you to count down the days until he returns. Maybe instead of a cycle ticker you can do a days until DH returns ticker Thanks for coming back to cheer us on!

Becky, I chatted with you when I was brand new on the MFI and you were very supportive of me-thank you.
I am sorry to hear of your M/C.  We won't be as amusing as your DH, but I am sure we will try!

Had SA on 1/22/2008-found out low sperm count.
2/14/2008-SA analysis again-yep-count still sucked!
2/21/2008-appointment with urologist found varicocile
3/3/2008-Surgery for varicocile-Doctor found TWO varicociles and had the buggers removed.
DH on Clomid for the next 3 months
4/9/2008-DH's testosterone went from 303 to 827!!
June-DH's counts are to 23 million!!
IUI 7/9/08 count 9 mill post wash
7/19/08
7/22/08- BETA 50
7/24/08 BETA 116 
8/14/08-First Ultrasound-baby measuring fine and heart beat perfect-RE Is thrilled with results!
8/28/2008-Ultrasound 2-little bean still looks perfect

Dh is scheduled to come back in November or December so we'll see. One month down and about 5 more to go!
