IC Positive Pics- Warning

Just wanted to show you all the comparison pics of what my IC OPK positive looks like verse the beautiful smiley face on the CBE Digital OPK. These were taken with the same cup o' pee. I had been testing with the ICs all day (I think I was up to 5 before I brought out the digital on a hunch...yes, a little crazy!) and there wasn't even a HINT of a test line present. I'm SOOOOO glad I decided to use the digital or else I could have missed it entirely!!

I didn't think that IC looked positive at all!! Thanks Katrina, I think your post from a long time ago mentioned the same thing, or something to the fact about being extra careful with the ICs.

That's what my + opks looked like when I used the ics. Any other time they were completely white! Good Luck Girl! I hope to be reading about your

wow...good to know about the IC's...I'm pretty sure it's time for me to go out and get some OPK's. I think maybe I won't try to get cheap ones though...

I have to say though, I think the IC tests reliability must vary widely because I loved them. I always got a "true" positive using them.

If you're addicted to peeing on OPKs I would recommend giving them a try (because they are so cheap) and see how they work for you.

Here's one of mine from last year. It's really blurry. I did have some good pics of them over the months but when my computer crashed I lost them all. The top one is the test line.

Thanks Mandy. Being the addict that I am, I did buy IC OPKs...50 of them!!!!!!!! They came from a company that had the initials SO-Tests. They were a great bargain for $24 shipped from Canada. Anyway, all day yesterday when I was testing (FMU, SMU etc..) they were stark white. Then when I got the

last night, I dipped an IC in the same cup and that's as dark as it got. I was shocked...but I guess if you know what to expect, then you won't miss it. I was expecting something as dark as your photo, but as you can see it wasn't even close. Oh well....backing up with a digital, although much more expensive, is totally worth it. Thanks!!!

I agree. I don't seem to have a problem with the ICs either. i actually got a super dark positive on mine last night and it was just "getting" darker yesterday morning. Either way, good thing you caught it! =) Smart woman!

Oh, I got mine from a different site. They weren't that cheap. Well I guess just the OPKs might have been but I would always buy them in a package with HPTs.

I think I would get 25 OPKs and 5 HPTs for $20. I liked them both. The HPTs are famous for evap lines but I *never* had an evap line show up before the 10 minute mark. It was always after it has set for a while.
