So, as many of you know, I officially lost my little angel. I miscarried 2 weeks ago, but nothing passed, so the D&C was just done this past Tuesday. Now I know what doctors recommend when you start trying again, but I want to hear from each of you. After your loss, when did you start trying again? Were you successful? Give me the nitty gritty details. I know there's a place on here for success stories, but I want to hear from all of you that haven't posted there. How are all of you doing? I'm using this to get to know all of my cycle buddies better.

7/2/08 - 1st u/s 8w 4d - No detected, OB recommended D&C
7/11/08 - 2nd u/s nearly 9.5w, still no detected

I am so sorry for your loss.

I started trying right away, but haven't been successful yet. I'm on my 5th month since my D&C and I got pg during our 5th month trying, so maybe that's our magic number! Our timing hasn't been great though, so DH has decided this month he's totally on board and will BD every day that I say we should. We shall see.

I have miscarried/ D & C'd 3 times in my past. Each time I tried again as soon as I got the green light from the Dr.(and successfully got pregnant each time) To make a long story short, in the end, Dr. found a polyp in my uterus, which was the reason I was miscarrying. After that was removed, I was pregnant the very next month! (Due any day now!)

I am so sorry that you have had to go through this.

My story: I got pg and miscarried at 7 weeks November 2006. We took one cycle off, and then the next cycle we weren't trying but weren't preventing and ended up getting pregnant with DS who was born Sept 2007. Honestly, as I look back on it, I would have rather waited another cycle b/c I don't think my body was ready for the pregnancy yet, but I had also been pretty sick with cold/flu since the m/c.

We had to wait 3 months after the D&C to do another IUI but we were trying on our own from the day we were given the green light to BD. We did 3 rounds of IUI and concieved again on the third try. That resulted in a chemical pregnancy. We had to wait 1 month following that but our office was closed when we needed to start another cycle so we waited 2 months. We have been TTC naturally the whole two months.

Hi! So sorry about your loss sweetie! Our story...we got pregnant and miscarried at almost 8 weeks then had a d&c because of no heartbeat and bad HCG numbers. Then we waited one cycle and the next cycle I got a call from doc and he said we could try...I o'd the next day and called him 10 days later and said I was pregnant again....We ended up miscarrying twins...one at 7 weeks and the other that we saw a HB on at 11 weeks. I had a bad d&c and was told to wait...I have been given the approval to go ahead but DH and I are trying to lose weight. I haven't had much motivation in that department but it seems to be picking up again. I think in about 5 - 10 more lbs we will get serious about trying again. Good luck! You can do this! Just hang in there!

We had a miscarriage but right after, I think we waited a month and then started trying but I had another miscarriage(D&C ). The next time it took us a little longer to get pregnant(about 9 mths) but we had a beautiful baby girl.
The doctor told me she recommends people wait about 3 months but she knows that people dont and understands that. Do what you feel is best for you..but at least wait till you have a regular cycle so you can have one to track from....good luck
