HPT Results-Bummer
Ok, so I had the worst morning ever. First it is storming here and windy all night so I couldn't sleep. Plus my puppy Libby was up 1/2 the night because she was still sick and breathing and panting hard...finally she feel asleep.
So this morning I ask my husband to take out the leashes for my dogs, they were in his car, he turned on his truck, came inside to drop them off AND locked his keys in the car with it running!!!! He tried to open it for like 30 minutes...no luck. So he left in my car and I had to call a locksmith. SO they come about 45 minutes later...at this time I am about to pee in my pants, but am holding it so I can test! This big guy with all sorts of tatoos and piercings shows up (nothing against them) and I am a little scared, but oh well, it is light outside now. He unlocked the truck-thank goodness!!
So then I come in to test with a FRER...AND...it is a Guess my cramps and such were AF saying she is "on her way" Bummer...pity party for myself. What a day and night and morning. And to top it all off a negative.
Well it is on to next month. I have a dr. appointment with my ob/gyn next friday (28th) for a follow up. I guess I am going to do another round of Clomid, since I will most likely have to take it before I see her. Not sure if I should ask her to refer me to an RE yet or just try this for another month or two. What do yall think? And as someone stated, this is the last month to try to get PG for a 2008 baby!!
OK...I want to cry so bad but don't have the energy right now. I have mixed emotions. I am going to go back to sleep for a while. Thanks for the support!!

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
Maybe it's a bit early??
I like my ob and all but was really happy with RE (even beforehand they spent a good deal of time going over our paperwork / history and even set up what the next couple of cycles had in terms of options - so maybe you could check into that?

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
I'm so sorry for your horrible morning! I've been seeing my OB/GYN for 10 months, including 5 rounds of Clomid that haven't worked, and have my first RE visit on Thursday. I'm so glad that I'll finally be seeing someone who will be a little more proactive, so my advice is to schedule an appointment with the RE. I wish I had done this sooner! I see women on here who started TTC the same time I did, and are already doing IUIs and IVFs and I feel like I have wasted time!
Good luck, and I hope the rest of your day gets better!

Ahh, I'm so sorry Jenny
I was really hoping this was it for you. You know though, I stalk the FF chart community, and I see a lot of women who got BFN on CD15 and then BFP on CD16. So don't give up hope until she shows!!! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
Oh, Jenny... I'm so sorry hun... I was really hoping it would be you're cycle.
In regards to the RE... I would talk to your OB/GYN next week. Has your OB/GYN done a complete work-up on you and DH to see what issues you might be facing? It probably wouldn't hurt to be referred to an RE. Hope you get some rest and have a better day from here.

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
Sorry to hear that Jenny. Maybe AF will stay away and you will get a late . If not I hope you get some answers from your OB or maybe move on to the RE. I hope your dog feels better soon.

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
I'm sorry .
I guess it is on to next month! As for whether you should try an RE - that depends on a few factors. I think you O'd well this month (good progesterone level, right?). If that is the case, I'd give it another month or two - even in perfect circumstances, you don't always get pregnant - just a 25% chance each month. If Clomid alone is going to work, it usually works within 3-4 months.
Do you have any other known IF issues? Has DH had an s/a? If you've done that, and if all looks good, most REs won't escalate to more until you've given Clomid a couple of months. Also, I don't know your age, but if you are under 35, I'd give Clomid a little extra time to do the job. If it doesn't work in 2-3 months, I'd make the appointment at the RE and look at other options/tests, but 1 month on Clomid with a sucks, but doesn't mean anything about whether it will work for you next month! If you've never had DH tested, and if your OB is willing to order it, I might consider having that checked out during this Clomid cy - doesn't hurt, and it would be the next line of tests anyway. It might give you peace of mind to know that is all good! And, if for some reason there are issues, it can help you know whether it is time to move on to an RE faster.

Re: HPT Results-Bummer
Thanks everyone. All your kind words made me feel better-I am so glad I have you girls to talk to right now!!! You are truly friends!!
As for Tkeys and some of you who asked. I have not done extensive testing, just progesterone and sonohystogram which she said everything looked fine. And my progesterone this month on Clomid was good-23.1(before it was a .7 or something-way below the even normal of 1.7), so it seemed to have made me ovulate. My husband hasn't done a s/a. She suggested it and when I went back last month before she put me on Clomid, she said we should hold off on that since we knew then my problem was that I wasn't ovulating. I guess I will talk to her about it next week and see what she wants me to do. But yes, I have heard Clomid may take a couple of months to work, so hopefully that is the case.
Alright, thanks again!
