i have a question here.. I want to know how often we should BDing during our ovulation
period? at the moment we try to BD every alternate day. My friends advise me not to
BDing everyday as DH will be just shooting blank bullets

That was good advice Samantha. Bding every 2nd day is, in my opinion, the best way to do it. We have to think that, if we bd every day, dh count will get lower and lower. It would be great if we could bd every day until Oing, but we can't forget that dh doesn't produce sperm every day to use tomorrow. Did you know that the sperm he deposits today was "fabricated" 3 months ago!

Ah, also forgot to mention, that DH sperm can last up to 4 days in us. And if they are really healhy they can go up to 6 days! So bding every 2nd day is more than enough.

We actually BD EVERY day a few days up to and including ovulation day and then a day after and still got our BFP. I think every man's sperm count is different. Good luck
Hey Samantha
DH and I got the same advice as you and your dh. We BD every other day, then right around ovulation for maybe 3 or 4 days we BD every day just to make sure we catch the surge. If I catch the surge on an OPK, we'll BD that morning and that night, just to make sure.

My successful cycle we BD'd every other day. I actually gave up because I ovulated super late that cycle so we missed the day of and the day before ovulation but were still successful! Every month before then (5 months) we BD'd every day with no luck. Good luck to you!
