It's so weird to me, to see women who I saw TTC on this board, having their babies now. I know some of you have been trying for much longer, but wow. I did not think this is where I would be, 9+ months down the road with 3 losses under my belt.

I am not really complaining because I am ok with where I am, and I know that I have already been so blessed that I have no right to complain anyway. Just commenting that it's kind of a "whoa" moment. I was so naive when I first joined this board!

Coming out of the woodwork here for a second. I know exactly what you mean. Every person that was TTC on the 2WW board when I first started now has either gotten their BFP recently... or has gotten it and have a little bundle already. It's a tough pill to swallow and it is really really hard to wrap your brain around it.

We told some family on my b-day dinner last year we would start TTC (tech. sept but went off BCP late may and just "not trying not preventing") And next month is my b-day so it's been a year, not to mention a year and just one decent good enough O cycle. That's it. (It has not been a good week. I've laid off SK and not telling anymore to the fam.)

Funny you started this thread!! I was JUST on FF's website a couple of min ago looking at all my old charts...they go back to April 2006!! I can't believe it has been that long!! This is definitely not something that you want to take months and years but sometimes it happens that way. I mean 4 yrs of NO PROTECTION whatsoever and you'd think we would have conceived by now!! I feel your pain I am a FIRM FIRM believer though that things will happen WHEN THEY ARE MEANT to happen and in God's time...that is just SOOO hard to accept sometimes.

One of my best friends and I started TTC together because we wanted to go through the pregnancy and everything together..but anyhow she had a little girl who will be 1 in a month....

Mary Beth - I feel the same way you do, although you have been at it a little longer than I have. I was also very naive when I joined the board. I thought it would happen right away. My SIL said don't be counting on it happen in the first 6 months, and I was shocked and mad at her for saying that and here I am at the 6 month mark and no hint of a . This is what this board is here for, for us to vent and be sad, and happy, and mad, and excited all that the same time. I hope this next bean is sticky for you and you can move on from these bad experiences with another addition to your family. Kian will be so happy to have a brother or sister to play with and I know that will happen for you soon.

I know what you mean. I started lurking on this board 1 year ago, and just before I got my , I was feeling very sad and lonely that almost everyone else had either had their baby or at least gotten their . I think none of us ever expect to be here that long. I can only say that you can be here a long time and still move over to the other side. I guess I just have to see if I'm lucky enough to stay.

I know it's been a long road Mary Beth. I'm so sorry it's been so rough for you. I feel the same as the other ladies. There are only about 4 of us left they haven't gotten their s from when I joined. I thought I'd be here a couple of months & move on. It's really hard to see people that come here stay a month or two get their s & move on & we are all still waiting. I think we are all so scared to be last, & see all our friends that we have made move on without us. I too have been very sad lately to see everyone pg but me. Get this dh's cousin has had 1 in a year & yet she has gotten pg twice in a year without help! When I hear stuff like that it makes me want to bang my head against the wall! Anyway, I hope all of our journeys will be over soon especially those of us that have been here FOREVER!!!
