Ok ladies, I wasn't going to post this but I am in desperate need of your prayers right now. Ok, first thing.....I'm pregnant! I took a test yesterday morning and the line was so very light that you could barely see it. I thought that was odd for 14dpiui, so I took another one (that I'll post here) after work yesterday. It was definitely darker than yesterday morning. So I get all excited because I'm sure this is it. I went to my beta this morning and my Dr. called me back this afternoon with some not so good news. My beta is only 17.8!!!! That is low for being 15dpiui, now it makes sense that my HPT's are so light. She didn't seem all that concerned though for some reason, well then her nurse called me back and was basically offering her condolences. She told me that she doesn't think my bean will make it with numbers that low and asked me if there is anything she can do? I wasn't going to tell DH because I wanted to surprise him, but I decided to go ahead and tell him because he won't want me to go through this alone and will be hurt that I kept it to myself. Ladies, please pray that my bean will fight the odds and make it into a beautiful baby! It's taken us so long to get here and I'm not going to give up now!

The pic is blurry, but you can see the lines. Oh and FRER really are as sensitive as they claim to be!

Oh T, first congrats, but yes...I'll pray that your little one sticks. Did the docs give you any thoughts as to why the number is so low? Also, did you happen to find out what your probabilities are seeing as it is so early? I hope the odds are with you and will be thinking about you!

Please don’t give up hope just yet. I don’t think your nurse should of done that. If your dr isn’t worried then your nurse shouldn’t have said anything either.

Have you checked out this site? Beta values main chart

It shows you the average beta levels from 10 to 36dpo on pregnancy’s where a heart beat was found. Your numbers are on the low side but maybe you just implanted late.

I will keep you and your little bean in my thoughts and prayers and please try and keep your chin up (easier said than done).

Hey T, Congrats on your BFP!! Now, don't get discouraged, even though I can completely understand. I can't see your chart, so maybe your O date was incorrect and implantation did occur later like someone else said. You could be VERY freshly PG and that could attest for the low betas. Try not to stress about it, and let nature take it's course, however it's supposed to. I will be praying for that little bean!!
