I want to share something about BF experience with my lost DD...I had no problems bfing her and she was champ at that too..Its amazing how your body prepare itself for milk production,,also BF is such a wonderful feeling and makes a precious bond between u and the baby...I use to love bfing my DD, only the nite feeding demand was tiring sometimes.. but then she fell got infected with severe infection of pnuemonia (at her 8 months of tender age ) and was hospitalise because of high temperature..the nite before we took her to hospital she just DID NOT want to bf..she was in the hospital for 1 month...coz all her body parts got infected and she was on ventilator..eventually she just could not come out of the ventilator and we lost her after 1 month for her strong fighting with the infection.. All this while I was soo badly wanting her to bf her and was missing it since I was seeing many others mom over there in the hospital bfing there babies and here I was not able to hold ..it was very heartbreaking to see my DD in such condition...but since she was on ventilor I could not hold her and use to pump milk for her...

After we lost her ..I use to, rather i am still getting the dreams of bfing her, its like my desire is fulfilled in my dreams where DD still comes and i m BFing her....I just miss every little thing of motherhood and especially BF..

I am sorry for writing a novel on this topic...but I thought I would share my feeling ..Thanks for reading

I passed my Glucose tolerence test!!!! YAY!!! I don't know what I would do without my much enjoyed glass of sweet tea!! I also had my blood work to see if I have developed any antibodies since I have RH negative blood and that came back negative too !!!!

Oh and Krissy I don't think you will have any problem with BFing. You sound very commited to it and I think that is sometimes the biggest part. I had a horrible time the first two weeks with my DD...I wanted to give up more than once but we worked it out and I BF her for 15 months. I would have BF for longer but she woke up one day and didn't want anything else to do with nursing.

Hey ladies--- Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing.. I have been doing great.. Met with the Midwife on Wednesday and she was great!! she took me into her office for an hour and then the exam.. and then did a sonogram.. the machine that she used what from another world.. so high tech..it was great.. has anyone had when they turn some light on and you and can see the babys heart and blood flow?? that was new for me.. i could see the cord and the blood flowing from it into the baby... IT was soooo amazing to me... on monday i started to spot and i was freaking out.. but, it was brown blood and the nurse told me not to worry.. and it stopped after a few hours...... keys, i was about to PM you when all this happend, cause you know how i freak!! lol

But all in all Im doing great and starting to relax and enjoy myself... oh.. and the heartbeat was 182!!! Im thinking a girl!!!! But, praying for a boy!!! Hope all is well with everyone!!!

Keilly - sorry about the spotting - glad all is well! I've had spotting a few times, and it is scary.

Saloni - I'm so sorry about your lost little girl . . . I can only imagine how hard that is for you. I hope when you hold this baby in your arms and can bf again, it will also help you remember and feel that connection to you little angel.

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. I'm still dealing with m/s and a UTI . Other than that, all is well! Here are my 18 week belly shots:

People either say "wow you are huge for only 18 weeks" or tell me that I just look fat and not pregnant. I am so ready for the belly rounding to start! Anyone else feel like the expanding is happening in the wrong place? I mean - the baby is all supposedly below my belly button, but I have this huge . . . lump . . . above my belly button!

I'm with you T, I just feel HUGE! I started showing at 10 weeks! I was planning on telling my office the good news at 12 weeks and one of my co-worker's called me out before I could tell anyone asking me, "What am I not telling her?!?" I couldn't believe she had the gall to do that, but luckily she kept it to herself until I made the announcement. But yes, I definitely have that lump above my belly button too, I hate it!!!

Saloni, I hadn't heard your story before either. I am so sorry to hear about your angel I can't imagine how incredibly difficult that has to be.
