Figures!!!
Every time I get close to Oing, DH becomes sick!! He's been complaining about his stomach all day. I'm hoping he's over it soon, because we need to start BDing this weekend. I was going to try starting tonight, but that's out of the question now. Men!!! Such wimps they are!!!
Sorry, just venting!

Re: Figures!!!
I told him he had better be better by this weekend or else!! I actually think his problem is that I yelled at him this morning and told him to grow up and take some responsibility!

Re: Figures!!!
I think it is called the O'ing complex...they get "sick" and tired and hurt all around that time of the month. Maybe it is their man period, yet it doesn't coincide with the fertile window.

That is too funny!! Yep, that's definitely it! He's been moody all week. He is blaming it on coffee withdrawal, but now I know better!! LOL!
the one good thing is that he went to bed early, so I get the big screen tv for the night!!
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days on a big screen and in HD - can't beat that!!!
It's usually set on ESPN, so this is a nice switch!

Re: Figures!!!
Yes, there is something to the men during that time. Hopefully he will get enough rest tonight and be ready by tomorrow.
Enjoy your girl TV time. Dh is playing video games in the other room so I get the big screen to watch Gilmore Girls.
Dh made his deposit this morning so we should be set for this cycle and it relieves him of his duties now.

It would be really nice to schedule O when it's convenient for us to BD, wouldn't it?
Well, we're both off for the summer, so we have plenty of time, seeing as we're both home almost all the time!!! However, he has issues with dtd anytime other than bedtime. It drives me crazy, and not in a good way!!
During the school year, he's always exhausted!! I'm lucky if we dtd every other week then!!

Re: Figures!!!
You girls makes me laugh!
DH and I are watching wrestling........
Seriously, Jen, you need to just tell him he can suck it up for a few minutes
Not to rub it in, but DH always is ready when I say it's time, except he prefers evening and I prefer day!! TMI?

Re: Figures!!!
Since we've been married, DH isn't as interested as he used to be. I would love for him to be ready when I say let's go. But, that's not the case.
And (here's tmi) I've found that if he's not into it, he won't finish, so what's the point? So, hopefully by tomorrow he'll be ready.
I'm getting frustrated with this stinking tv! It keeps losing signal and going off. I've missed about 20 minutes of this movie!! GRRR!!!!!

Re: Figures!!!
Sorry Jess Dh used to get "sick" around my O time every month. After months of this we finally talked about it, & it turns out he was just scared, & we needed to work through some things. Now he's as ready as I am when I O! He even calls me from work when he knows it's time to start testing to see if it's "TIME"!

Re: Figures!!!
Oh Jess and Amy, you are too much!
Here's the truth about it: Pamela is right, men get scared, they get so anxious and nervous so they can't "fish", they get sick, etc. It's a man thing, for them it's a big responsibility doing what they do - producing the sperm and delivering the stock. If they get nervous about it they think "what if I don't have enough sperm; what if I can't deliver, what if I fail?". This is a big blow to their manhood, failing us.
We think it's so easy for them, but when they start feeling the pressure of TTCing they are scared they don't deliver. For women it's the whole pregnancy journey that's tough. For men it's delivering that's tough.
It's always taken two to tango and TTCing also takes two.
Both husband and wife will have their fears, we know our fears, we've just got to compreend their fears as well.
The trick is not to tell them when you are Oing, or what day you are on your cycle. I had to do thay with DH, and we found that it was much more fun and there was more passion and fire when we BD'd. Try this and your DH will feel better.

Re: Figures!!!
Lady-here is what you do. Go down to Victoria Secret and get a cute little see through something or another, put your hair up and get a pair of your heels and just walk past your DH with it on. I bet he will magically feel better.
It's kinda like having to wrap your dog's medicine in ham or turkey so they'll eat it. You just gotta trick them into feeling better.

I completely agree with this. There are a few outfits that dh will stop whatever he is doing and participate if I wear them in front of him. Last weekend worked really well. I bought a school girl outfit and had two glasses of wine (my liquid courage). I pranced out into the living room where dh was watching TV. There was a nice hip hop song playing on the TV so I started dancing....and boy did that do the trick. Dh has still been talking about that all week. Now, I am only going to break that out once in a while....I don't want him getting spoiled.

Re: Figures!!!
You guys crack me up! I DO think it gets pretty pressure-filled for men, though. My dh has mentioned that a time or two. I think putting a little 'fun' back in it is a good idea.
