DH is one of three (he is the third) and was very premature (like due mid-late september and he was born july 4th )
Is that usually something circumstantial or genetic or just to hard to tell? She fell a few days before going into labor so may be related to that.

I don't think it's genetic, but I think it may have something to do with the number of kids you've had (you're also quicker to show, and have a bigger baby the more kids you have) and at what age you have them. My bro, my parents third child, was due in mid January and he was born in mid October (at 28weeks). My mom was also 36 at the time. My DD was born at 35weeks and she was my first and I was 27 when I had her. I was induced because of eclampsia but neither I nor my hubby were early (other than 2 weeks).
I do know that you and your hubby's birth weight will affect what size baby you have. Case in point, my hubby was 10.6lbs at birth, and his younger sister was 10.9lbs. She had a son and he was 10.15lbs!! He was the size of a 3 month old when he was born! LOL I'm PRAYING

DO NOT make me give birth to a toddler!!! LOL
