Default Blessing in disguise

The day I found out I was pg, I came to work and another girl had just found out she was pg. I mean- our due dates were the exact same day. I chose not to tell a lot of people, but she told pretty much everyone. Well, the day before I had my m/c she went for her Dr.'s appointment and ended up not coming back to work and hysterical because they couldn't see a baby but they saw a mass in there. I thought to myself that it was too early to see anything, but the mass was concerning I guess.

A few days later she goes back and evidently the baby is fine but she still has this fibroid in there. They said they were just going to keep an eye on it.

This morning she comes in and gives me ultrasound pictures. I see the bean and this other lump beside it but she looks super happy. I said, "um.. what's the news?" and she goes, "While I was getting the ultrasound the Dr. said 'Hey, there's your fibroid. And it has a heartbeat!"

She has been TTC for a long time so I am very happy for her. I had ended up telling her I was pg so she was really sad when I had the m/c. I told her one of these days I will catch up to her

I wish my fibroid had been a bean!

Twins is exciting . . . and what a relief to know there isn't a problem at all.

Katrina I'm glad you made a second post. I read your first like three times and each time I was like "DUH WHAT?!?!" Then once I read your second one and saw that she was having twins it was like "Ohhhhh". Was she on any medication to bring on the twins?!? Don't tell hubby, but I would LOVE to have twins.

I had to do the same thing, read it a couple of times to understand what you were talking about. Twins are so exciting.

I had to read that a few times, I misread it the first time. Wow, twins...lucky fertile little woman. I want twins. They run in both of our families....maybe I will go roll in baby dust and think fertile thoughts.

You've got that right. My best friend is a blond and we joke that I am the brunette that operates like a blond. I have way too many blonde moments for being a dark brunette. LOL. I must have been a blonde in one of my prior lives.

You know I married a blonde and he teases me constantly about 'looking' like the smarter one! haha I'm not as ditzy as I am clumsy...oh my goodness. My poor DD is just like me in that regards too...and she does have a lot of blonde in her hair. Poor baby!

Talk about reading things wrong.. I thought you just said:

"They've ruined both of our families" ROFL!

Twins do run in her family and she was on no medication. I know it makes you want to bang your head against a wall, but it was one of those cases where she just OBSESSED about TTC and after about 2 years she got so frustrated she just gave up. And it happened the month she stopped testing, etc.
