:happy birthday Vero!!!! Christine I love the cake, you are sooo talented...you did make that yourself right?

Eric is eating lots of solids, he has 2 big meals a day plus his 28 oz of formula...so it's not for a lack of eating, I guess it's just he's not old enough yet to not sleep right through, that's OK with me, just wanted to know it's normal!

We are getting some more snow overnight...ugg when will it ever end??!!!!

Hey girls.

Well, since a few of you asked about the gdiapers I will let you know about them a bit. There is an outer cloth shell and then a vinyl lining that snaps into the shell to keep the shell clean and then a diaper pad that fits into the lining. I like them except for poopy diapers. The poop tends to get on the vinyl lining which I then have to clean and rinse; they dry in about a 1/2 hour but need to order more so that once I rinse them I can just toss them in the hamper until I do laundry. You don't need to wash the outer shell every time. Right now I have 3 shells; need to order more.

Oh Kris I feel for you...snow! we had quite a winter huh? we had rain yesterday and lots of it 30-40mm! every road was floaded!

Yup I made that cake for my Shaun the Sheep crazy girl She loves him! it was quite yummy and easy to make (thanks to the internet hee hee) It was marshmallows on top

Nikki - the only thing I did with both my girls is sit them on the potty every 30 min for the first few days and no more diaper (except naps and nightime) and it worked great, Camille was potty trained at 22 months and Vero 23 months.

I need to run my day is over and i`m off tomorrow...talk to you all later!!

Hello all!

Kids are eating their yummy tri-color alphabet pasta for lunch, so I have a minute lol!

I found this good (organic) pasta at Trader Joe's and they both just love it--and the letters are small enough to be bite sized, but big enough you can really tell what they are! healthy and fun--gotta love it!

Kris, sounds like Eric is doing great and is quite normal! He will give up that mid-night feeding when he's ready. I know it would be nice to sleep right through, but some babies do still need that mid-way feed You're doing great! Before you know it, he'll be done with that, too

He is so cute. Hope your snow isn't too bad! Sounds like you've had quite the winter!

Hello Lauren! I have to applaud you on the gdiapers. Does it seem economical, too? I think they're a really cool alternative. I am now trying the 7th generation disposables, as they seem a bit better without all the chemicals. Just got them today, so I'll see if I like em after a few nights. Same price as Pampers but without that smell!

I guess that's it! hello to all!!!!

Nikki, so glad to hear that your dd is doing well now.

Your boys are growing up too fast, too! Sigh...

Hello Eire, Nicole, Donna, and Christine!

Christine, that cake was way too cute! Have a good day off tomorrow and HAPPY BIRTHDAY VERO!! Officially TWO!

Okay, I better run--Al wants MORE pasta lol.

Then naps and off to the park...it's another really nice day...sorry to those with all the cold and snow...I am NOT missing Ohio winter this year! It's sunny and going to get into low 50s today...but no doubt rain will soon be back

TTFN!

Lauren-I never heard of those kind of diapers. They are always coming out with new baby things.
Kris-Maybe in a few months your Lil Man will be sleeping thru the night. He might just one of those babies that needs to drink in the middle of the night. You never know. O BTW, you can send some of that snow this way to Penna.LOL We have gotten some snow but not as much as I would have liked.
Christine-OMG You made that cake. You are very talented , indeed. Do you make all the girl's cake or was this your first one? I hope you enjoy your day off. Thank you for the tip on potty training.
You all have a Fabulous night !

Rachael--what is the pasta that you were talking about. I have been trying to buy as much organic stuff as I can lately. And I am not sure if it will be economical using the gdiapers. It was a lot up front buying the outer "pants". I just started so i will have to see how quickly I go through a pack of 32 pads. I did buy them by the case load as it was more cost effecient that way.

Christine--meant to say that I just love the cake. Who is Shaun the Sheep??

Kris--I too agree that in a few months he won't be waking anymore. When he does wake is he really eating or is it more for the interaction with you?

Nikki--I am with you in that I would love some of the snow sent our way. This winter has been such a bust for snow for us. I think since Dylan was born he has only gotten one good snow to go out and play in.
