From bad to worse

My puppy died on Sunday. She was only three months old! She was my baby, sweet little angel pie.

We were visiting relatives and something heavy fell on her little head and she died within minutes in my arms.

It felt like our miscarriage all over again. The pain is unreal, I can't imagine ever being happy again.

Oh my goodness . . . I don't even know what to say to you. That is HORRIBLE.

I'm so sorry you are going through this . . . one tragedy on top of another.

"They" always say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger . . . but sometimes it just feels like everything is trying to kill you, and that eventually something is going to actually succeed.

I'm just so sorry. We're here for your while you mourn. Our animals are absolutely like children, so I know how awful this is.

OMG! I am so sorry. That is just terrible Missy! I hope it gets easier for you. Losing any loved one no matter how furry they are...is hard. I am sorry that had to happen. HUGS!!!!!!

OMG!! What a sad, unexpected tragedy

You poor thing. We can totally understand how you feel. I wouldn't be able to ever imagine being happy again after all you've been through either. Give yourself the time you need to put yourself back together. I am sooo sorry

Oh Missy.

I'm so sorry. What an awful way to lose your sweet puppy. I don't know what to say to comfort you. Except I know what the loss of a dog is like and I am hurting for you.

When we lost Gero last year MissyAnn sent me this link and it really helped us feel comforted. I hope it can comfort you too.

Missy...OK I am crying right now. Mandy that was a great poem!! I am SO sorry for your loss. I have two schnauzers and they are my world. I am sure she is in "puppy heaven" but I know it hurts.

My little one-Libby got bit by a rattlesnake over 2 years ago. I fell part-we though she was going to die, but she survived. Of course my family didn't really understand what I was going through because they never have had pets. But when something like this happens, it hurts just like losing a human. I was just at the vet this morning with Libby, an eye infection, two weeks ago, she was throwing up bad and 2 weeks before that I noticed her teeth were loose, so I took her in. I am always paranoid, but that's how parents are right?

I hope you feel better!! I am sure your puppy had a wonderful life with you! You are in my thoughts and prayers!! Love Ya-Hugs!!

Missy. I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't lost a pet in a long time, but I know how hard it is. I hope that Mandy's poem helps you a feel a a little bit better.

I'd be distraught to lose one of my fur-babies.............and as a few others have said not sure on what to say but hopefully something good comes along for you

DH (before we met) -his dad bought him a beautiful puppy Ginger - he came home from school a few months later to find her hit by a car and by the time he carried her to his mom she was gone. (he still won't really talk about it - i got the story from his mom when i saw a picture of her)

I'm so sorry for you and your puppy. That's a terrible thing to have happen and sadly I know how you feel. Years ago I had a 2month old kitten die in my arms. She had a heart problem that we didn't know about. I only had her for 2 weeks, but it was very traumatic. You will heal in time.

I'm sooo sorry to hear that, Missy. My dogs are my world, and I can't imagine what I'd do if they were gone. We've had some close calls, and I just fell apart. I'm soooo sorry!! {{{{{BIG BIG HUGS}}}}}

OMG Missy, When I read this my heart dropped...we had a Pug, his name was "Slick" and he died of Parvo shortly after we adopted him. It was SO hard, I didn't even know he was sick and he was taken from us, I was devistated, it is so hard when there is nothing you can do to save them... I gave him cpr and everything.... DH had to pull me off of him.....I know what you are going through and I'm soo sorry this tragedy happened to you.
