Another test and update!
Hi guys!
Thanks for the supportive comments about my crap-a-licious HSG experience earlier this week. I had a sonohistrogram on Fri...and I had the OPPOSITE experience of my hsg appnt: fantastic doctor, wonderful staff...woo-hoo!
This was at my RE's office, but it was actually his doctor who performed the test. He asked how HSG had gone, and I told him how horrible that doctor was to me. He was outraged and apologized for my experience. He said that younger specialists (like himself) are now being trained to offer sedation as an option for EVERY hsg (not even just for people who've had complications) because there is a high percentage of pain associated with the test.
A nurse at my RE's office even contacted the radiology department at the hospital and made a formal complaint for me. Isn't that awesome?
The sono went well...it was uncomfortable, but I can manage with such wonderfully caring professionals there! Everything looked fine, they could even see my c-section scar from the inside!
Take care all! Thanks for 'being there' for me through all this!!!
